Last trading day of September so I have now updated Post 1 of this thread with our 3 best set files based on profit vs drawdown as below. I encourage everyone to have a go at developing these further and if anyone runs a test for a month showing better results with a myfxbook link than any of our top 3, measured as profit/max drawdown, then I will be happy to add to Post 1 too and you will be able to bask in the glory of the Awesome Basket Forward Test Hall of Fame!

Hey everybody,
very nice results from the last test. I will start testing with the Top3 set files.

I wanted to add my results of a two month test of TJFs 1M4H set file (5$ global TP).
I started the test August 7th and since then the account is up 47.71%

The test was done with a 1000€ account...i know a little risky but I wanted to see how it developes and what drawdown I have to expect. Also 10000€ is too far off for me

The results after two month are pretty amazing IMHO:

Gain: 47.71%
max DD: 20.5% (according to TradeChart)
Average holding time is just 22h.

The set file is still running with Awesome 1c. I don't want to mess it up with an update, so I usually stick to the version I started the test with and let it run.
I will start a new test with the latest version of Awesome and try to replicate the results from the last two month.

I wish all of you a profitable next week

Ooooh that's a good un too then. Can you post the set file and I will add it to post 1. I didn't keep that one going.

Sure. Here is the 1M4H setfile that has been running on Awesome 1c. I will start a new instance with the latest Awesome version. Lets see if it works as well.

It's interesting how our perspective on the results changes over time. The MTF Global 25 pound setfile had a bit of drawdown early on and didn't look much good, but now it looks much better - good gain, and Equity staying very close to Balance.

I am developing my own setfile(s) and just have a quick question been studying the top 4 and can you explain why there are differences between them eg

Were they different versions of Awesome? Ferox has additional lines?

Yes the M1H4 was run by Ferox independent of our joint testing which produced the first 3 sets so could easily have been a different version.
