The attached sends buy signal if blue line is above 50, sell signal if <50, regardless if blue line crossed the red line.

You played one of my fav tricks and forgot the actual attachment. I do this all the time.

I use now the currency meter from page 1 in this thread, because it is compatible with TDesk, but you can use any currency meter. There are a lot of them for free, even on this site.

For general use or extra confirmation, this web page is used by many, the charts are great but look below them for the strength graph.

It resets daily at the 5 pm New York close, so don't read much into it until at least Frankfurt open and better still London open and after that

Anyway, the modified indi I was referring is rubbish so no point posting it again.

However, I'd like to bring everyone's attention to the QQE indicator as I believe it may be a great addition to TDesk.

What is it?
- it's based on the relative strength index, but uses a smoothing technique as an additional transformation
- the name stands for Qualitative Quantitative Estimation. Quant analysis is obvious: a cross over the signal line. Qualitative: I think the author meant a range of variation in the indicator within the upper and lower extreme boundaries

Why is it good?
- has virtually no lag
- it generates few false signals, but they won't cost you hundreds of pips. The usual suspects in our toolkit such as SS D1 or Gann H4 should filter them anyway
- works best on H1 with RSI period set to standard 14

Request:
- can a kind soul with enough firing synapses make the attached here indi Desky-compatible
- the indi produces arrows on the chart itself, so can we have them being sent to Desky?
- There shouldn't be any flat signals, unless someone wants to play with UpperBound and LowerBound settings (the indi produces another arrow for crossing zero line - or 50 line in the previous version of QQE - but I don't find it beneficial on medium timeframes. Maybe it works with scalping on M1/M5).

It will need a little extra coding if you only want to send a signal following a cross of the lines.

You may have to change TDesk's chart tf to force a display with no quotes coming in.

But I think, that does not work properly.
On chart is green arrow for buy, but on TDesk is short signal.
Someone any idea?
