Hello all,

Here is a strategy that i have been using for a while now and it seem to have some merit.

The system is made up of three indicators namely, parabolic sar, force index and sidus. I trade it on 15 minutes chart on ndz/usd aud/usd usd/cad.

Trade Setup: for a buy, when the sidus arrow apears facing up, the psar must also be below and force index should be above zero line. and vice versa for sell

The problem i have with this system is that i have to steer at my screen all day so as not to miss the signals, so i was wondering if some of the great coders here will have a look at it and hopefully consider it worthy to be automated.

Attached is my statementfor the last three months and the system. thou the statement is not so good because i often miss exit sgnal and also take late entry's, most of the losses are my fault.

And also i forgot to add that if you are buying and you get a sell signal (sidus arrow) you exit the buy immidiately and go for the sell if all conditions are met.

Assuming the other conditions line up, do you enter at the start of the candle following the appearance of the arrow, or as soon as the arrow appears? Or does the arrow only appear at the close of the candle at which it appears?

Assuming the other conditions line up, do you enter at the start of the candle following the appearance of the arrow, or as soon as the arrow appears? Or does the arrow only appear at the close of the candle at which it appears?

If all conditions are met i enter as soon as the arrow appers.

The arrow appears anytime there is a cross, it dosent wait till the close of the candle.

Hi GT3RS,

I usually use a 90 pips TP ang a SL of 35 pips. You exit a treade as soon as you see an arrow in the opposite direction.

For better entry's look at the 4H and D1 trend and trade only in that direction on the 15 minutes chart. i.e if the 4H and D1 trend is UP you look to take only buy signals on 15M.

Ok. I imagine this will degrade the machine's performance significantly, but there is nothing to be done about that.

The EA will be up and running later - it is nearly finished now but I have a lesson in a few minutes.

Also, I am using my shell to code it, and this comes with the usual panoply of thingies. Shall I: 1) leave them in; 2) Remove them altogether; 3) Hide them without removing so they can be easily recovered later.

I suggest 1), apart from the open trade management stuff, but the call is yours.
