A quick question, can you confirm the latest candle templates for 5m scalping & 4h trading?
Is it;
for 5m-15m;
! gannbob_final_candle_Scalp.tpl
and for 15m-4h;
! gannbob_final_candles_v2.tpl
The Gannbob final salp or HA whatever you prefer came first. It is a 5 minute separate template and a second template for 15 minute through the daily. The Daily is for 10.9 trading on the daily. I just put it on there as a convenience. It is just one indicator at the bottom. Than I started the second thread on scalping 15 min and below and needed a template that covered the 5 min and 15 min. It came second and is still under development. I am individualizing the setting for intraday trading. So your 2:1 say on the 15 minute becomes the 1440 min and 240 min. The 5 min becomes the 240 and 60. It is not ready yet for release but soon. Still thinking about this and testing it. So the bundle in the scalping thread right now has essentially the same time period adjustments as in the gannbob bundle final. So just use the gannbob bundle for now. So you have the 15 min through the Daily covered. Use the 5 minute if you want to try the 5 minute but the 15 minute is ideal because it has the 5 minute shadow ribbon on it and you can see all the ribbons all the way up to the weekly. However price movement will be faster on the 5 minute. 3 times faster and more noise. Thinking about time is something traders are not use too thus the gann ribbons will help fill that gap.
On your chart the lines are going to the weekly (screen door effect ribbon with dots for a fill and a yellow edge) and the shadow ribbon (Clear Fill). This is on GBPNZD presently.
If you go to GBPUSD at the moment (May 1 2014) you will see a perfectly ordered pair arrangement. All traders agree on direction. This has put GBPUSD at the top of the Daily CSS where it is now. This is something on my to do list, how ordered pairing effects CSS that is after I do the next 15 things on my list ahead of it

. What else is very interesting is that all the pairs have decided this not just by order but by having their leading edges on top except the dally but because it is very thin it is getting ready to cross.
Ok let us start from the bottom on the 5 minute. The Gray is always the primary but on the 5 min it is a 5 min ribbon and on the 15 min it is a 15 min ribbon and so forth. You count up from gray primary. If it is the 15 min the next Navy color is 30 min. Dark Green 60 min. Just look at your periodicity selector on the tool bar starting where you are and look right. The shadow ribbon would be just one to the left. Down a time frame. Some of the shadow ribbons are perfect to number nine math theory and couple I had to round because the t3ma can not take a decimal like 13.5 but they are close. All regular ribbons are perfect. It is hard to go backwards because the system is a bottom up system. I can go only one period backwards by division. It is all about time. Each period is scaled upward. The reason I can scale to any time period from the one minute up is number nine math theory. Look at the docs for a discussion of that topic. As examples of systems that are top down look at any of Bobs 10.x systems.
So 5 min first example should explain its self. We will cover all the ribbons.

The Daily on the 5 minute. There is no weekly on the 5 minute.

The next time frame up is the 15 minute.
15 min ordered pair still the same gbpusd.png
Just showing you the daily which is up one from the weekly now on the 15 minute.
15 min ordered pair still same gbpusd daily.png

Why can I not put all the time periods on one template?
Well if you look at the indicator list you can guess. This is an extremely complex template with lots of calculations occurring for some very very large averages. All the ribbons are done with math. There is no other way to do this. What you see on a time period is controlled by the visualization settings. So ribbons come on and are removed for each time period. So there is a separate ribbon indicator for all but the gray one which is the same on all time periods. Empty4 struggles when I put to many indicators on a template and if you do not have 8 gigs of memory or have the buggy 625 release unexpected things can happen.
Thanks for the questions. This needed further clarification and there will be a rewrite of all the Docs once the 5 and 15 min time periods are done. The 30 minute time period may undergo some changes with changes in the 10.7 indicator also. I am not sure how the templates will be released but I always try to give you as much choice as possible. 5 min through 30 minute would be the true intraday periods in my mind. 60 minutes and above the larger trading periods. I keep thinking of new things I might do but the list has to go in proper order.
Thanks for Participating, It helps everyone including me ...
