EA on multiple Empty4 terminals of one account

Hey guys. I have been reading up on this lately, but thought to raise it here to see if anyone has had issues with this setup.

I have one criminal account that I would like to run multiple Empty4 terminals on to help distribute my CPU load across different cores. What are the potential issues with running many instances of an EA on different pairs, each with a different magic number, across the different terminals on the same account? For example, terminal 1 might have EURUSD (magic #1) and terminal 2 might have USDJYP (magic #2), both on the same account of an ECN crim. Should be fine, right? Or could the EA instances still conflict? Thanks!

Yes it should normally work fine, the only thing that could happen is that the EAs on the different terminals try to open in the same moment a position what could cause errors, but if the EA(s) you use have an good error handling this should too not causing problems.

Well, as a follow up and for others who might try this, I am having troubles with this setup, but only on ECN criminals. As it turns out with multiple terminals on one account, my EAs have trouble modifying existing trades to include SL and TP, so my SL and TP are not set.... Good to know.

btw, this lesson cost me $ time two, just because I wanted to see it live (of course, I did not see this on demo, go figure). I trust demos less and less. Lessons galore for a price

Ok, but I would cheerfully risk a fiver on it being a Empty4 problem not a prob with your ea's.
