AGT's EA Portfolio

Post by AGT »

Ok - so it's my first thread in this great forum. Nothing special, I'm a simple Betatester, not a coder. Have a 8-10 hours day job to do - so the bots are a chance for me ... may be ... in the future ;)

So here you may have a look in this Portfolio, most EA's tested are form the genius coders working here in the SH's Forex Trading Forum.

May be it can be useful at least for comparison for someone here ...

Here is a second MFXB account (only containing more proven bots .... possible live candidates  ) - VPS !

And here is a third one:

Archived EAs are posted/transfered into the TGTFX2 MFXB-account:

Thanks AGT!

I'm quite shocked to see Trendy Gary seems to be the strongest in the lot -- even though you're only getting buys on it. I really need to pay some more attention to that neglected child of mine...

TG looks like another case of awesome results with trending markets (beginning Dec 13).. Either way 34/34 wins is mighty impressive!

Yeah, that's probably it, Jem. I can't believe TG would do that well over the long haul.

Is it bad that I'm always wishing for adverse market conditions just so I can put my strategies through their paces? It feels great seeing the accounts fly up when markets are trending but I already know the strategies work in trending markets - all I'm looking for these days is how to minimise the losses during the rangebound times and I need shitty conditions to test them out.

Hi AGT, and everyone here.
I'm new, so please forgive my stupidity with the following question!

AGT, the EA's you are running in your portfolio. Where do I find them on the forum to download?
For example, I wanted to try out the 'Vegas traderdoc' but having searched the forum, there's no sign of a download in that name. Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Also, AGT, can you also inform me of the EA settings you have used?

VERY happy to be here guys - you all seem like a very nice bunch.

The "Vegas" is a bot coded by traderdoc and it isnt posted in this forum - but it isnt pure automatic trading - I have to intervene manually - the bot is pretty good only in strong trending markets - the profits vanish quickly in flat markets, cant recomand this one .... furthermore the BT's aren't cogent. The setfiles are usually OOTB. In some weeks, 1-2 months a more clearly picture will develop - some bots (at least with the settings I'm using) I'll stop bcz of bad or mixed results ... some candidates for further investigation are perhaps already arising now ... may be ;) 8-)

OK - I stoped (temporally) a lot of the bots - these ones begin with "#".
Simple reason: poor results, high DD's or simply cracked acc's.
What's left over ?
The amazing TG, some/most of the XMeters (even the older ones).
Watching further the "The8", BBBE and the B'n'B.
The Vegas is now the best one - BUT only now in strong, very strong trends it works ... in flat markets all the profits usually disappear.
The Beast was running very good a long time BUT I felt a false sense of security (not the first time !) ! TB is in severe DD's ! A well known picture - had it often in the past ... unfortunately !
Hmmm ... GDay ? Anyone with better results ? Anyone with a tricky setfile ?
