Hi Peter, I'm looking at your fxbook and I see a big drop at 4/5 of that month.. what caused that?

Just wanted to say thank you Steve, Bob and the rest of the crew and everyone who contributed to this amazing piece of work. You can be very proud of yourselves and have my full respect. Pure genius! :hi:

I'd like to address some issues of which ONE was already noticed. The invalid stops (130) errors. It seems that when the error occurrs it doesn't put any TPs in (also seen in my attachement)

Also if you take a closer look at my attachement my trades USD.CAD to the SELLside are still open ALTHOUGH there is a semafor established with a retrace above 10 pips+. Next candle there is a BUY signal, still the trades were open. I noticed this behaviour several times on other pairs too. Anyway, they closed after a while but I didn't sit in front of it the whole time and didn't know what exactly triggered it now. Does it need some type of confirmation to close? It looks like it.

Here are my results on GP DEMO from Monday until now (the first 6% were from v1z with Peters setfile, I switched to 2b after with a very similar setfile and a 200 S/L. The reason behind the switch was the DD that was pretty huge and ate up my whole margin):

I've had a great week so far with HGBG (version 1z) after running several variations on a VPS for a few weeks and seeing what happened.

I'm bagging an easy 3% a day with .01 lots ($1500 dollop) running it from 7am to 7pm London time (2pm to 2am Aussie time) and using a basket manager (TargetCloseAllTradesBE) with TP set at 4% with PeterUK's setfile with several tweaks of my own.

When I wake up at 5-6am I then run the Nuclear Option script and close everything - open and pending - doesn't matter in positive or negative profit. It is very usually positive . I do this as I have found I am the type of trader to not want to be watching trades retracing throughout the Asian session before moving when London reopens. No doubt this is losing me money but that's the way of trading that allows me to sleep.

I am wondering whether there is basket manager that can take the % profit throughout the night but then at a certain time will close ALL trades. It seems the ones I have found here will happily hit the % TP and then close everything but I'd like it to hit target and keep going all night and maybe grab another 4% but then at a certain time (set by me) - blow all my trades away.

It is not hard at all to do manually but I do find it weighing on my subconcious while sleeping and I am waking up at 4am all of a sudden and opening my computer to turn off all trades. So it would be great to be able to set something and get a good sleep and then go through things in the morning.

There are many trade managers but small 'TargetCloseAllTradesBE' was compiled to 'take off the cream'.
Attached revised version I use, does have a Time CloseAll which can be set for any local hour of any day - default Fri 2200 (Aust. GMT+10).
Main feature is 'incremental basket target' so when target (start at 4% for day) is reached, closes only trades in profit, then increments target +0.5% each time a target is reached and +ve trades are actually closed.
For me this does exactly what I believe you look for, banks targets then closes everything at a set time.
Wonderful tool to bank good trades before reversals and, as mentioned, have seen targets increment to +9% in one day with HGBnG as 'reds' turn 'green'.
[Includes <PipFactor.mqh> code. Also Atr BreakEven now works for HGBnG trades with no StopLoss, which other version posted did not. Added 'EmergPairLossPerc' closes all trades for any single pair if its combined losses exceed -10%(default) of AccountBalance.]

Of course in heavy drawdown situations where 'CloseLossPercent' must be set very low, 'incremental target' does nothing, hence fresh start each week.
This week HGBnG (effec. v1Z) hit 4%, then 4.5% on Tuesday, small loss Wed-Fri, closed all late Friday at -1.6% for day before US open announcements. All out with +5.6% after 2 rather slow weeks is still fine for me.

Thanks Paul - I'll give that a go now too. Appreciate you adding in that code.

I ended this week a touch over 20% for the week with no DD on any day at the time of morning closure of all positions (account balance was $2006 on Monday) using my previously mentioned hours of trading. I only use six pairs after removing Gold and GBPJPY because I was getting too many open trades.

I used your basket manager at 4% although that only got hit once or twice - profit was mainly from TP's being hit and then me manually closing the trades with Nuclear Option script before the Asian sessions kicked off.

Of course you win some and lose some doing that but even if I can keep doing a quarter of what I did this week over a long period I would obviously be VERY happy

Still testing variations as I think there is possibly some more room for extra profits with timing of closing all trades and also lot sizes.
