Hi guys,

First post here so trying desperately not to get shouted at and banned like so many others (even my palms are sweaty) so in some way I will try to contribute something albeit very small...irrelevant to some.

I've just spent the last week testing this EA on my Demo account and for the life of me couldn't understand why I was finishing the day -200pips when everyone else was +500pips and getting ready to buy a tropical island.
I re-read all the threads and instruction manuals knowing that not to do so would be instant death, re-installed everything...etc etc
Determined to solve it myself I started using Kevin's SET file on exactly the same pairs yet I was still losing when he was winning. In the end the only thing I was doing different was using a different broker. So I changed.

I now have it running on a GP demo and my old demo concurrently. Within 10 minutes the difference is obvious. I am receiving different alerts for different currencies at different times. Upon closer inspection I see the bars are different and thus the signals are different; making more sense - the blue waves are in different places being the most obvious improvement. So I don't know if the GP will prove profitable but it is running different; correct if you will (the signals look accurate now).

So to finish this long winded post I will summarise the lesson I learnt:
Fellow noobs, If you get this up and running but not winning make sure you double check what your signals are saying and that your broker isn't sending you duff info. I can't vouch for GP yet but at the moment the signals from their feed do look better.

Secondly, you won't get a better or more honest broker than GP. They are transparent in every way. :youknow:

Thirdly, you'll find that which ever Broker you use must have the charts on the New York close to be in sync.

Just my 2 cents worth...

Seconded, thirded, fourthed and fifthed.

Broker discussion might seem off-topic, but it absolutely is not. Successful trading depends on your broker being honest.

Anyone have problems with a GP demo, get in touch with them. They will help you out every bit as much as if your are a $100,000 client. GB wants your buisiness; they want you to become a $100,000 client.

Guys, today's moves were incredible.

Made 1631 pips this week, with -900 floating.

17% growth this week, for 9% drawdown.

HGB'nG is making a killing. :yahoo: :yahoo:

Thanks for the reply guys.

I am running version 2h with HGI 16.07. GP demo $1000,
Kevin's SET file with the same pairs. Very different results but I've only had it running since last night so too early to tell. If there is a problem though its definitely my end so if I'm still stuck I'll post any issues in the tech thread.

Hi Anima,

One day of trading indeed isn't enough to prove a system is profitable and so isn't one week. What I know is that HGB'nG has been profitable for the last weeks/months.

So we need to be patient, I believe this system will prove profitable over time. There will be bad days where the equity will be going down. So it is important to not overtrade. HGB'nG under the form we're running it now will only close groups of trades that are in profit, so you'll most of the times have some drawdown on the account. If you look at my balance/equity curve, you can see that at some moment my equity went down as my balance was going up. After some hours, my equity shot up like a rocket and is now beyond that level where my balance was before and it is still going up.

If HGB'nG will always behave like that, is something we shall see. It is too early as version 2h is pretty recent. I have high expectations on this one. ;) But never risk money that you cannot afford to lose. So continue with that demo account until you feel confident enough to trade this system live. If those profits continue I'll soon withdraw some cash and open a live account with GP as Steve trusts them. :) And I strongly recommend you do the same as those guys look like very serious people. ;)
