SuperSlope Flying Buddha

Post by TraderJoeForex »

Here is a nice combination and simple strategy which I found since using the Flying Buddha indicator as a filter for my grid trading (http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 76#p151876)

This method is great for smaller accounts and trading intraday:

Setup:
Baluda SuperSlope: 7 period SuperSlope set to D1
Flying Buddha: H1, H4 or D1 as trading timeframe

Trigger:
Enter at market when candle closes with a new FB AND this agrees with the direction of SuperSlope:
Blue UP = buy only
Red DOWN = sell only

No SL or TP

Close on first opposite Flying Buddha OR for greater adventure hold until opposite signal i.e. opposite Flying Buddha AND opposite SuperSlope.

If first position goes against then open another position on the next signal and a small grid can be built this way until opposite Flying Buddha brings an all close.

Here is what the chart setup should look like:

Edit: Now recommend PeakHiLoFibs for overall direction and TP (see most recent posts). I trade a 365 day cycle but pretty much anything over 240 periods on H4 works.

Nice one TJF.

Would an auto-trader be any help?

:xm:
Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. [email protected] is the account.

EURJPY shows a buy on H1 and a sell on H4 so I've entered both and will manage accordingly... who says we can't have custard and cream.
