This technique is actually good because when a trade is stopped out, it will be easier for the remaining trades to close as a basket.

You can see how it had a dip in early January due to the SL but it recovered nicely after that.
In my own EA (different strategy) I have an incremental stop loss, which is applied every few trades
so when a SL is hit, the next SL is a few trades away (and not on the next trade) so we don't get such sharp dips, we get steps like the one shown on Feb 2 and Mar 6.
I also don't want trades to close out unnecessarily so I use >250pip SL
