Dear Thomas and Rene

When I select a specific Test Set to list the Setfile settings I find it difficult to read as the background is transparent (see attachment screen-shot)

Would you be able to change this so that the settings are legible?

Thanks again for all your wonderful contributions

Cheers Richard

Hi Richard.

We never experienced that before. What OS and what browser are you using?

Cheers

Hi Richard,

Your tooltip is rendered totally differently on your screen than what we are getting. We are looking at this:

It is hard for us to fix it if we can't reproduce the problem. Is there anything else you can mention regarding your environment that can point us in the right direction?

Puzzled ... :? :?

Still totally inconsistent with what we get:

On your screen the title bar of the tooltips wraps around and the title bar should have a dark background.

Can you completely remove any browser history from the fxtestify.com site?

Hi @all.

Test results are pouring in every day and the database is growing. We have collected half a million data points (equity and balance per trade per day) yet. And not too long until we will see the first results of FXT-SPB-1 and FXT-SPB-2. Well done by all of you!

We have just released a new version of the website with many detail improvements. And we are working on some more very unique features that will help us identifying promising setups. Visit us at FXTestify

We have archived four experts today. They didn't look promising and there were no results submitted for weeks. You can see the historical results at Archived Experts. Please don't try to submit any more results for these experts as they will be rejected by the database:

SHF-AWSSG (Awesome_SS_Gann_HL)
SHF-HGBCP (Holy Graily Bob's multi-pair Candle Power)
SHF-SCB (Slopey Crossy Bob)
SHF-SGB (Slopey Griddy Bob)

Expert of the week
SPB (Slopey Peaky Bob) had a rollercoaster week with an amplitude of some thousand pips. Results will differ widely depending on the exact time tests were started. Don't worry, this will average over time. Important fact is that SPB seems to recover nicely even from bad entries.

Database hint of the week
You all will be aware that manul interception in your tests is not wanted. Manual interception falsifies the expert's results and nobody can reproduce the results. But are you aware that trade mangers running side-by-side with the tested experts have the same effect? The database results will only be useful if the closing of trades is solely done by the expert. Trade mangers will also invalidate results. Please don't submit results that are a combination of expert and trade manager logic.

Cheers for now.
René and Thomas

Dear Thomas and Rene

I checked the Trade2MySQLConnector EA (3.1) page today (10th July) and all Empty4 instances showed that the last transfer was on the 6th July (See attached). (Note: I had not closed any Empty4 instances and just left them running over the weekend)

When I opened and closed each Trade2MySQLConnector EA today (F7 then OK) the database transfer date updated to today's date (10th July).

Question: Should we be resetting the EA at the start of each week?

Kind regards Richard
