TDesk and Desky are a bit hard to take when you first meet them. Ask your most basic questions here, free from the threat of the sort of kneecapping you will endure if you ask them in any of my threads.

Some kindly soul will wander along to help you out.

Mind, it is absolutely essential that you subscribe to the forum. Do not expect to keep up with what is going on if you cannot be arsed to read the latest posts. You will get away with lazy and stupid posts here for a while, but only for a while. Try it elsewhere and see how long your membership lasts.

Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. [email protected] is the account.

Hi,nixxx
Which broker are you using?
If I use the Global Prime broker it won't get this kind of error, but if I use the IC Markets broker it will.

I don't see myself as a noob but I do like having questions and issues away from the main thread.

As for the problem mentioned above - It looks like I'm having the same "array out of range" issue with 3.0 too.

I've tried:

- re-downloading
- Empty4 reboot and refresh
- Entering symbols with and without suffix (assuming it's a symbol name issue if it doesn't affect GP)
- Using just one symbol
- Using a different reserved symbol
- Turning off everything I could in terms of functionality

I've attached the experts message for info.

Thanks

Bruster.

Hi! I launched EA on another terminal (same broker) and it all worked.

PS: I also do not consider myself a complete noob, but just in case :)

Hi

I had the same problem today with "array out of range in TDesk.mq4" in the logs.
I re-downloaded all files and indicators. Still - same result.
Then I I searched and deleted all the "mqlcache.dat" files - and voilá all is working fine.

works great now!

Hi Guys,

Just a little fun. Amazing how we all try our own things. I am truly greatful to Steve in making us do some thinking before we post here. I was in a dilemma myself this morning by not being able to get TDesk to work and tried from clearing my global variables file to deleting and re-installing and what what - A NON CODERS DILEMMA. I finally decided that I will wait for Thomas to respond to the brave souls that have posted querries here. ;) Thanks Thomas for your patience.

Cheers
Leon
