Hi @all.
SHF serves you 24/7. It is free and doesn't bother you with ads. Now you could probably give something back. We are looking for someone really experienced in upgrading phpBB installations. If this doesn't tell you anything, don't read further ...
SHF uses a very old version of phpBB, 3.0.12 which is only compatible to the oldest available version of php, 5.6.40. Both are unsupported for a long time and are causing more and more problems. We want to upgrade the board software to the actual version 3.3.x soon, but need help with it. This is where you might come in. Drop us a message if you think you would be of any help.
Eternal glory will be yours.

phpBB help needed
Hi Tomele,
I haven't got the faintest clue about phpBB . I can imagine it will take time and effort to upgrade/fix/implement it. The only way I can thank you for your time spend to maintain this forum in top condition, is to send you money via your https://paypal.me/tdesk link.
And I sincerely hope that many of the 25689 SHF-users follow my example.
Best regards,
Ludo

You are using an older version, but good to know it is a safe version:

phpBB update finished
Hi @all.
As you may have noticed, the board is running on a new software platform.
We have finally managed to upgrade it to the latest php and phpBB versions.
This was quite a task - the update had to be performed over 3 major versions.
It was no minute too early, as crashes and downtimes had started to mount up.
No wonder after 12 years of continuous operation with no updates.
We are looking forward to the next 12 years of smooth service for you traders.
There might still be some glitches and details we will fix over time.
Please report all errors as well as suggestions directly to my PM inbox.
Have fun.

A huge thank you from me as well. I would have got nowhere with this stuff.

Thank you Thomas. As a one time Sysop of Maximus and Spitfire BBS's I know it can be quite a job. (I used OS/2) Long time past.
