PAMM fund management

Post by WhoKnows »

Hi Dudest,

I read in a previous post:
'Tallinex is on GMT time while I've always used GMT+3. Not earth shattering but a slight mental shift is required (mostly for my market-maker daily cycle M15 profile)'.

Just be careful my friend, and maybe do your charting on the platform you are used to, while trading on Tallinex. Or even trade on your old platform and use a trade copier into Tallinex (if that works).

When I was trying CJ's approach I found a different platform time setting made me make different trade assessments than the standard 5 day chart. For me the mental shift was too much of a burden.
When looking at 2 platforms with different times, I could see why I made different decisions. So I decided to 'standardize' to 5 day NY close charts.

But anyway ... success

As I don't have enough time myself to do dedicated trading, I too will join your PAMM

Cheers,
Peter

dudest,

Sorry to annoy you with a probably silly question... is there a better moment to make my deposit? Maybe when you have no open trades?...

I ask this because I see you pyramid your trades and I was wondering what would happen if I make the deposit and miss an anchor trade.

Right now my balance is less than 20% what I invested less than 3weeks ago. In my opinion the account has been massively overtraded with no consideration for any form of risk management. I thought this was a good opportunity to diversify risk alongside my personal trading. I was wrong.

PAMM fund management

Elixe made some investigations and sent them to me, allowing to publish them here:
Hi Tommaso,

I've been in touch with one of the institutionnals of Tallinex, and have had some nice informations...

When dudest claimed he was unable to access the account, they are formal, he did have access :

The logs from the trade server show that Michael actually logged in to his PAMM master account 9 times on that day:

2016.09.16 02:30:00.926 197.183.210.116 '1258030': login (954, android, ping: 169 ms)
2016.09.16 06:11:53.929 197.237.243.236 '1258030': login (954, android, ping: 75 ms)
2016.09.16 06:29:49.548 197.237.243.236 '1258030': login (1010, client, ping: 240 ms)
2016.09.16 06:51:16.992 197.237.243.236 '1258030': login (1010, client, ,ping: 74 ms)
2016.09.16 07:43:51.323 197.237.243.236 '1258030': login (954, android, ping: 49 ms)
2016.09.16 08:45:50.133 197.237.243.236 '1258030': login (1010, client, ping: 49 ms)
2016.09.16 13:36:40.771 197.237.243.236 '1258030': login (1010, client, ping: 74 ms)
2016.09.16 13:38:31.141 197.237.243.236 '1258030': login (1010, client, ping: 71 ms)
2016.09.16 13:42:23.007 197.237.243.236 '1258030': login (1010, client, ping: 74 ms)

The PAMM account did suffer heavy losses on September 16th but, as shown above, Michael was able to (and did) connect to the PAMM several times

And, to make things worse, he claimed that Tallinex restored access to his account but he never contacted them to get help :

Not once did Michael contact myself, live chat or [email protected] to enquire about any possible issues

They have cancelled any negative balance resulting in the stopout of the main account :

The final stop-outs occurred on September 30th due to the fact that Michael was heavily exposed on gold trades. This resulted negative balances for nearly all investors and a financial loss to Tallinex, however, we will not be pursuing the investors for their negative balances in this instance.

And you want the funny bit ?

He asked them for a performance fee on September 28th, when the account was almost down 95% :cheer:

You can share theses informations if needed
Thanks Elixe !
