Something useful from Microsoft ?

Post by tomele »

Hi @all

For all who have more than one computer running, here is a really nice tool from Microsoft:

"Mouse without Borders is a product that makes you the captain of your computer fleet by allowing you to control up to four computers from a single mouse and keyboard. This means that with Mouse without Borders you can copy text or drag and drop files across computers."

I am using it for a few weeks now. It works perfect, is very useful and fun.

Just search the net for "mouse without borders".

Cheers

Thanks Thomas
Looking at the possibilities, I take it that this wouldn't offer opportunities or advantages of managing our trading VPS set-ups from home laptop. It seems it is designed for a local network. Am I correct here?

But yeah quite a cool little development for multi-computer users. Makes me think maybe going for a dedicated laptop for trading and trials etc, maybe......

Hi Vince, you are right.

I have my main machine in front of me, just right of it my trading machine, and to the further right from time to time my laptop or my convertible. They are all part of the same network and I can control them all with my main machines mouse and keyboard. Not more not less.

Cheers
