I use it cause I find it much easier to create indicators that I can then bring over to Empty4 for more automation options. I see lag in candles and entries so avoiding lower time frames is probably a must.sdao85 » Sun Jul 21, 2019 6:01 pm wrote:A friendly request for user experience in using tradingview.com to analyze and trade. Just my two cents.

TradingView is awesome!
At first, it was hard for me to grasp the Watch List, as I was so used to having 28 chart tabs for Empty4 or 5.
So, I guess the feeling was that those charts were "open" / receiving price data I guess.
Now I know it is quite easy to switch between charts, and everything you had on that chart is still there.
And there are so many drawing options, way more than I will ever use, easy to learn. For instance, there is Triangle and Triangle Pattern. You can mark your Favorites and have a Toolbar just for those, see chart example.
The only thing I am still working on is the actual placement of trades; I open an account with Global Prime for this.

The latest what's new is here
https://www.tradingview.com/blog/en/cus ... ity-25782/
They added the Visibility tab to every indicator!
How is that even possible? Never happens in MT that's for sure.
I had an indicator custom coded, and the programmer didn't include it...
But now it magically appeared, I'm impressed.
