2 new inputs in the '240 BUY.SELL.NOW.ALERT inputs' section, allowing you to control whether SB closes trades following an opposite direction signal:
- CloseTrendTradesOnOppositeSignal: close a trend buy following a ct sell signal, or the chart time frame trend changes, and vice versa.
- CloseCtTradesOnOppositeSignal: close a CT buy trade following a sell signal.
The purpose is to allow you guys to play with leaving trend trades open through some ct trading. It will result in both trend and ct trades being open at the same time, and so cannot by used by US citizens.
DO NOT USE THIS VERSION ON A LIVE ACCOUNT. The code has yet to be tested.

Steve... A bit of info... ATCBrokers allows for the open of long
AND short simultaneously on USA accounts. They use their back office to monitor and fulfill the required FIFO settings & requirements. I use hedging quite often. This is a great feature of their system along with .MKT feed and their advanced Order Entry script.
[A bit off topic but applicable and may help, and if you need to move this section, I understand]
Something which may be of interest. When creating/testing/trading, I setup three different "'groupings" of pairs based on the historical, average volatility of the pairs for each session. Bob provided a great outline of this on another section and should be required reading for all traders who need to know about volatility and pairs correlations. It is very helpful. I use three profiles and change to the respective profile for each session. Now, with the use of SB, and my other indi's and trading setups I use, by using the MPTM and magic #'s,
AND 3 Empty4 instances of the same account #, the same can be accomplished using a distinctive Magic number for each grouping (profile), with a MPTM for each instance and MPTM controlling each unique magic #. Example: Profile/group/Empty4 instance 1, I assign a unique magic # to the ea for each pair traded with each pair having the same magic # in that 1st grouping. Then repeat for group 2 and group 3. For each grouping, open a non traded pair and apply the MPTM entering the unique magic # in each MPTM instance. In this manner, if a particular "group" or session profile is more active and you want to change the entire setup of pairs or 1 pair to a different time period, it can easily be done without affecting the other profiles or ability to manage trades opened by the SB ea for that pair. Remember to turn auto trading off when changing the time periods so as not to lock up any screens.
I keep three instances of the same account # running at all times on 3 different boxes for backup and 1 on mobile on a separate internet feed. If a box goes down or the main internet goes down, I have instant back up. Additionally, I can use my mobile to power my pc, if needed, via a program called PDANet made by
http://www.junefabrics.com/index.php . It works on most all devices. It requires a desktop component and a mobile device component. I realize these are a bit off topic, but thought they would be of great help to many here. The PDANet program is a lifesaver when your main net goes down.
As you know the time required to setup multiple charts can be quite lengthy. Even the task of changing all the charts to the same period, or from one period to another can take much time. So along with the two utilities you have already provided which are a great help, I would like to add another..a script to change all charts to the same time period. I have not seen this in the forum anywhere but I may have missed it.
One note about it's use. Drag it onto the lead chart from scripts folder. Tick the box "Allow Live Trading", change the time period desired in the properties, I think I tick the 'Allow DLL also", then hit ok. All charts should change to new period instantly. It is a great time saver along with the other great utilities.
I, too, will be using SB (main version - not the untested) live on Monday session.
Let me know if I can help..
Cheers..
