Holy Graily Bob 'n Dotty 'n Peaky

EA's inspired by nanningbob's work here, especially those based on his 240 Moving Average trend detection filter.

I'm just brainstorming right now, but do you think there would be a reasonably simple way to implement this into trading manual zones? I miss quite a few entries due to price falling short of my zone, but if the EA could somehow activate within a certain range of my zones it would cut down on a lot of the missed entries.

Nope. EA's are literal buggers with no sense of adventure. They go where they are told to go. Ye Gods, but I wish teenagers would do the same. :arrrg: :arrrg: :arrrg:

You want something different to what is on offer here? Come up with a sensible trading spec that can be turned into a reliable but thick robot.

Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. [email protected] is the account.

I do have something in mind, just hoping I can get the source code to make it a possibility...

It would be implementing something like SupDem that draws supply and demand zones, but better than that old indicator did it. Even though automatically drawn zones aren't always that great, I think they would still be more useful than using peak or sixths because its locating each area where there has been significant buying or selling without worrying about getting the lookback settings right.

Say a prayer that this Russian guy will sell me his code. It does a better job than anything else I've seen.

The latest version of the core library is in post 1 of the shell thread at http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... =87&t=5077.

The latest version of this EA is available in post 1.

All these updates do is tidy up the bloops I introduced by adding a new input to HGBnDnSSnFB and the way the inputs are displayed to the user. You do not need them if you are happy with what you already have.

I have also updated the user guide attached to post 1 in the http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 39#p145239 thread.
