I'm still on 7 myself. Hopefully Windows 10 (due out in Jan I think) will resolve the multitude of problems left by Windows 8.
Dream on. They haven't got this stuff right since Windows 95. What makes you think they will suddenly start doing so now?
The new Windows 10 Technical Preview already looks much much better.
Well, even the Cretins at Crapdows wouldn't post stuff that makes them look silly.

<stops to think about their lack-of-help screens>

Cancel that last statement.

Read the effing manual, ok?

My philosophy of Trading
"The key to converting something useful to others is simplicity. Complexity is the enemy to execution." Tony Robbins
Bob, can I say amen to the above.

I have just spent the last 4 hours dealing with people who could not get out of their own way if they tried - and want to blame me! :arrrg: :arrrg:

Even though I cannot programme to save myself; I understand your, Steve's, Tomasso's, Elixe's (et al) frustration at times - firstly as teachers and secondly as programmers. We all have to spend so much time & energy converting our 'specialist/technical knowledge' into '6yo kid speak' that, some days, it is enough to drive a person to drink!

My grateful thanks for sharing your 'trading' philosophy and wisdom with us. :good: :good:

I wish you a very safe and Happy Christmas.
Cheers
Doc :)

1. First it had to be an AMD because my son worked for them. I got a AMD A107700K with 10 computer cores. I didnt even know they did that.
2 12G memory
3 2 TB of hard drive, dont ask me what I will do with all that I hve never filled a 250 HD.
4. Beats audio and R7 graphics board plus a bunch of other computer jargon stuff.

Gonna need to adjust to Windows 8.1. Will be putting it together today and then have to go out and buy a new mattress.

Al I also got a wifi booster since Grandma's house is brick and block

I am ready to conquer the Forex world. Ohhhhhhhh only a 23 inch monitor anything bigger made my eyes go buggy. So I am ready.
Nice ... I really like that chip. All my home built computers have used AMD chips. My laptops and My ALL in One had intel but those mobile chips were ahead of the AMD chips for that kind of hardware at the time.

For my servers I always build AMD. Very economical but powerful chips.

This new A-x series chips also called the Kaveri chips combine GPU's cores And CPU's cores to make a up the total processing unit. So some of those cores are GPU cores and some CPU cores in your 10 core computer. Very cool chip. Have fun ... I am going to use the same chip in my next build but it will have 12 cores an A10-7850k and I will overclock it. Make it faster with the addition of more cooling. Enough geek talk ... Merry Christmas ...................

After exhaustive work and testing we finally have struck gold. For the first time that I know of, we are running a repainting indicator that doesn´t repaint. The indicator and how it calculates price is still using the same formulas, IgnoreFuture is still False, but we are allowing HGI to paint only on the current candle while open. A future looking indicator that is not allowed to correct its past divining mistakes.

Compare the top picture, 15.06 (New Indicator) with the bottom picture, 15.04 (The old repainting indicator). You will see some small arrows turning into big arrows and a few other discrepancies with the old indi, like less wavies, etc. but overall a REAL and TRADABLE indi. A complete success. I pushed Tommaso hard and he came up with an idea that he thought might not work, might blow up, might cause countless other issues, but the end result so far is a great success. I can trade this thing ... Congratulations Tommaso !! Quite an accomplishment.

Please be aware that 15.06 will only issue REAL past results as long as you don´t change time frames. If you change TF, or reload the indi, all the past candles will be repainted again and will start returning REAL results from the current candle forward.
