1. I know in the first manual I said CSS but it uses the slope. So each pair is calculated individually. I stated this in post one and corrected the language in the updated manual.
2. The indi does not run tick by tick but refreshes every 60 seconds. You should be able to adjust that number if you want to trade lower charts. It should be a choice you can change when you drag it to the screen.
3. The indi has a T/F for changing the MA or ATR. On the 4 hour it is set to 60 or 240 so on 1 hour you can set it to 240. I don't know if that will give you the same as 4hour though. Remember to get everything to work seamlessly together we had to play with the numbers so you can't always think in purely 240/60 terms. You can at times see a big red arrow above the 240/60 lines because the slope line will justify its placement.

4. Please understand this is my first attempt or really it was Elixe who came with an idea that gets us out of the trade when we put a trade at the peak of a move. The wavy line or range arrow helps us in getting out of that trade and being caught in a reversal.

5. I have no idea how this thing works on lower TF, however, Alorente really liked it in the couple of days he tried it. But, that is not enough testing time to prove its worth. So adding some adjustment maybe needed for others to use on lower TF. I have peaked at the 1H TF a couple of times and it looked good but still not trade there to know.

6. I do believe using Bold traders session info and lower TF probably be a happy marriage.
Thanks Bob. You bet I like it in smaller time frames. Ideally, you should have a H4 chart together with a M5 or M15 chart of the same pair. Make sure you are in the direction indicated by H4 and trade in and out on the M5 or M15. You get a lot more trades that way and are exposed less time to the market. That is how I´m trading it in conjunction with my current Extreme TMA system. HGI has most definitely cut down on early entry errors. My pip results have doubled since incorporating it and it makes for a more relaxing and fun experience over all.

this version will check, if you have enough bars for the indicator and try, to download more bars if you do not have enough. So the zero-divide error is resolved with this upate.

Cheers :)

Congrats to the team for putting this together.

Would it be possible to include a "Current Profit/Loss" indicator?
It would make it a bit easier for those of us who use multiple trades per pair.

Thanks in advance

Hi Al,

Maybe you could share some examples of how you trade this ?
That would be interesting for us all.

Really disappointed I can't make the party today in London to meet with Bob and other UK traders. I live in Cornwall, UK, and seriously thought about making the trip. Anyway, all the best to you Bob, thanks for everything.

Very simple... Trading HGI alone, here is the latest USDJPY move from yesterday in H4. You can enter on the Green Arrow and ride it for 100 pips OR move to the M5 chart and trade the Buys in and out as signaled by the White lines for close to 200 pips. It´s your choice... The first option is less pips and frees you from screen watching, the second makes you rich faster but requires you to actually work for your money.

I won´t discuss what I do with Extreme TMA since it would be off topic.

Just set up Market Watch on the left like in the picture I enclosed and drag pair symbols onto the chart of your choice. It changes the chart instantly to the dragged pair. I run 4 charts, but it can be done with only one chart if you prefer.
Hi Al,

Since you posted this in the past, I use this method.
Love it.

For this it can't be used in my opinion, because one needs the indi with the alarms on all charts in order to know what chart to go to.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, as it kept me from manually trading this gem.
