When I saw you had a 10% basket close set up on PPoS I thought "that will be unlikely set at that low level of risk".
So I downloaded the CSV of the trades from MyFxBook and counted.
Since May 6, 2015 there have been 12 occurrences of a 10% basket closure.... WOW!

It also looks like you are closing all the trades of Fridays, leaving nothing open for the weekend?

This basket closure is a feature that can easily be added to the base PPoS code.

Thanks for your kind words. Yes, usually I try to close all trades bevor WE - defintely, trading live I'd do so. That's the reason I use in some PPoS-test platforms Tomaso's sAPBM (instead of MPTM) for completly closing the Empty4 even for the rest of a trading week after basket closing.

Btw - I agree with you 10 % is a bit high, although it worked so far. Perhaps the number of 8% is good enough as well for having success.

I stoped the two bots: ForexAntifragileExpertAdvisor + Ichimoku trader, tested on the daily TF - they did not look promising enough, DDs are too high for me.
Have to admit, that I cant say nothing about the real possibilities of these 2 EAs - maybe further optimization could improve them ? However. like Jose wrote it recently: one good EA is fully enough to become a millionaire

So I'm focusing on the other EAs out here and doing so far a pretty good job ! You may find them all in my "portfolio".

And I added the newest EA Jose coded: "FourSunsForexSky" !

And yes: perhaps it's time to stop the test of PPoS using the ATR based parameters ... the only platform/acc using them - GP 32 - is doing really bad :youknow:

I have, like a lot of other traders here, some of Jose's EAs running: in test or live even.

Jose's empty thread perhaps worried someone here in SHFX.com ! :youknow:

However I got an email, and Jose wrote me some reassuring + encouraging lines:

There are so many EAs, in an anarchic way, and I think that in its present form of disorganized souls, they are not useful to anyone.

I will begin again with another mood and sense, and will try to organize my EAs and threads.

I decided to abandon the use of ATR based params, bcz the results are to bad (GP 32). This platform is switched back to fix SL/JSL/BE/TP like the others (xfactornos original). Furthermore it seems to me, that 3% risk isn't better then 2% or even 1%, bcz using the 3% risk, the wins can outperform the unavoidable losses to a lesser extent. I remember - using even 4% risk in an account I got worst results. So I'll start at monday an account with only 1% and a smaller 5% basket TP (GP 32).

All the actual running bots Jose coded are doing well - at the moment, altough some of them show considerable BEGs. Anyway none of them crashed and I hope they wil close the BEGs.

The "NewAlienForexRatPack" EAs of the v4 series (EuroSpeedWay, LibraVision, CableRider + JapaneseEngine) are fresh - lets see how they'll go up the next weeks - at the moment these bots are more or less in DDs.
Interesting to see, that the former v3 of the EuroSpeedWay is running better ... however it's trading a longer time. It has a very good sharpe ratio of actual 1.03 ! All in all EURUSD (EuroSpeedWay) gives the best results in comparison to GBPUSD, USDJPY + GBPJPY - at least for the v4 series.
The FSFS v2 shows a similar behaviour like the "NewAlienForexRatPack" EAs of the v4 series.
The two SAKs are doing a satisfying job, but at the moment they don't look like favorits. Anyway let them run further.

I like the the LongBoardCruiser - starting not so good he could now stabilize well. Reasonable gains at slight DDs ! That's it what we all need and like so much !

3. LBC v1

I had a look into boinvests accounts, btw where are you my friend ?

He is running a lot of the "AlienForexRatPack"- and "NewAlienForexRatPack"-type EAs since may or so ... his accounts show a clear picture: most of these bots run into DDs during the first 1-2 months and only waiting patiently you can see them turning around and going into a winning area step by step.
