Post subject:  10.7/10.9 INDI SOLUTIONS
I decided to have all of the indi problems brought to one location. If you find a problem with the indi please post here so as not to clog up the thread. Also those that want to help with the programming can help with the solutions. This way Milanese and others dont have to hunt down changes in the different threads. The indi used is the same indi for all versions the only difference is the settings. SO 10.9 V.17 is the same as 10.7 V17 and so on. The only difference will be the true/false settings for each one. This is how Milanese will designate each version.

10.7 is for trading 4H charts and lower. It has some filters needed in trading that the other versions dont use.
10.8 wont have its own thread but questions about it will come up now and then. Its settings are only for trading positive swaps. So when it trends with the swap you will try to trend trade it. If the trend is opposite the positive swap you will try to counter trend trade. EIther way you will always try to trade with the swap.
10.9 is only for trading the daily chart. you will find only 1-3 trades a month with it but you are going for the fences and hitting home runs. What I am hoping is a group of traders warning each other of a set up and then deciding how long and far to ride the trade.
10.10 will be fore CT trading, multi-level, and recovery trades. If you are in the hole and in trouble I will have a thread where good traders will try to get you out of trouble and try to save your account or at least some money. There are settings in the indi to help you with that. We all make mistakes and have bad days. This thread is to help you get out of trouble.

Anyway I didnt think I could do that with one thread. Too many different subjects. 10.7 will be my main home with my biggest account. Another account will be for 10.9 so I will be doing two different versions of the system.

However this thread is for solving problems that will pop up with a complicated indi like this. It also will help take the load off of Milanese in keeping up with it. He has put so much time and effort into this and it is a glorious piece of work. Now we just fine tune it and make sure all the parts are working.

SO if you find a problem with the indi post all the problems here and we will try to solve them in one location.

PS A note about Empty4 from (SpotDespot):
Empty4 can only use one core - it isn't clever enough to take advantage of multiple cores. As a result you may have a 2 or 4 or more core computer but one core of a 4 core computer may not be as powerful as the single core of a single core computer you had previously - even though all 4 cores combined may be far superior to a single core computer. So running multiple MT4s like one for your CSS and one for other indies and a third for placing trades probably will make the indicators and Empty4 work faster and better than trying to run everything on one Empty4. See page 56 for a discussion on this subject.

Bob, is Tommaso's indi actually widely available, and if so where?

I am fine as T is always kind enough to send me his latest, but I am not sure where anyone else gets it.

I have just sent an early wrup to draw attention to all this and will include it in banner headlines tomorrow night - and I am talking BIG banner headlines. :good: :good: :good: It would be good if people could lay their hands on the indi.

All looks fantastic so far - thanks Bob and Tommaso! This post isn't about any indi issues but the thread is indi "solutions" so hopefully this helps people.

One slight question raised has been around the switching of the daily/weekly stochs prior to them settling. I have used the daily open as a key factor (essentially a s/r zone) in my trading for some time and I think with Bob's ideas the weekly open become equally as important. Essentially for those that haven't worked it out these are the "switch" points for the Weekly and Daily 10.7/10.9 stochs.

With the visual backtesting I looked at over the weekend I think the attached indis might help as they highlight the daily and weekly opens. As I mentioned the daily one I have used for a while and it is very good but I have never used this weekly one before this weekend so please keep an eye out for any issues with it.

So essentially they help see where the daily/weekly "switched" historically but may also prove useful in confirming entry points - e.g. on an H4 chart, Stoch drops below 90/, W1 Stcoh low, D1 stoch High but price dropping through Daily Open on this candle (therefore D1 stoch will drop) and will be a valid trade.

I am having a computer log on problem with my compter at school.
I have WIndows 7 Ultimate
There are 3 users on my computer
2 of them can log in but I cannot.
I tried system restore and that didnt work
I tried Scan/fix now prompt and it found no errors.
I tried my W7 disk but it does not have a repair function. It can only write the whole program over everything again.

When I enter my password to log in I get this message:

User Profile service failed log in
User Profile Cannot be loaded

I also went in under administrator under another log on and changed my password but that didnt work either.

Any solutions??

Try this :

1. Restart your computer and hit F8 multiples times until you see a menu-like screen, if you see the Windows splash screen then repeat this step
2. Highlight and hit enter on Safe Mode with Command Prompt. Try logging in there. If it still doesn't work, then go to step17
3. If you are able to login, once a command prompt pops up, type: net user administrator password /active:yes (you can specify whatever password you want for the administrator account.)
4. If you get a message saying "The command completed successfully", then restart your computer by typing: shutdown -r
5. Boot up again pressing F8, but this time choose just Safe Mode.
6. You will be able to login as Administrator with the password you set in Step 3
7. Hit (windows logo)+R
8. Type regedit
9. Once the registry editor opens up, look for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
10. In the left pane, find the one that starts with S-1-5..... and ends with .BAK; if you don't find one, skip to step 15
11. Right click it and click Rename, then change the .BAK to .BK
12. Right click the one with the same numbering but without the .BAK and add .BAK add the end
13. Right click the one that you renamed to .BK and clickRename, delete the .BK
14. Eventually, you have switched the .BAK from the end of the second entry to the first. That should probably fix your problem.
15. If you didn't find a .BAK then try this: Open Windows Explorer to C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Application Data
16. If you find another Application Data below the one you're on, then delete it. That should probably also fix your problem.
17. If you can't login in Safe Mode, then reboot and hit F8 until you see the menu again, then hit enter highlightingRepair Your Computer
18. Wait until all Windows Files finish loading, then hitNext when it asks keyboard language.
19. Try logging in here also, choose your user from the dropdown menu, and type the password, then jump to step 23
20. If that still doesn't work, then if you have your Windows Installation CD still, put it in and restart your computer.
21. Hit F12 until you see a menu of boot options, choose Boot from CD
22. Choose keyboard language then hit next. Find Repair Your Computer from a little below the center left.
23. Choose Open Command Prompt and type: net user administrator password /active:yes (here again you can specify a password)
24. Close the command prompt and click Restart and jump to step 5

To disable the administrator account, type this in an elevated command prompt: net user administrator /active:no

Okay, I give up. Where is the TDMTL indicator? I searched FF and Forex TSD, there are dozens of iterations fof the indi. Which one is bob using?
