Newbs, you might be wise to follow my lead and take FB off GJ for the time being. Pairs tend to bounce around in a period of consolidation after a big move like yesterday, so trading the pair could prove costly as it bounces around the MA. Wait until the market starts to move again.
Also, I just remembered it is NFP today, so I have shut down until after it is released.
Word of caution re mptm folks. I closed the live basket manually because mptm waas telling me my profit target was reached, but not actually closing things down. I do not know if that is because of some rare combo of circumstances or because of a bug in the code. mptm has been used for so long and by so many people that I doubt the bug, but cannot state that definitively. I am working on an update to mptm that drags its code into the early 2000's but have not had time to test it properly yet. I am still using the original version. Just keep an eye on things if you are trading FB live and using mptm for basket management/global closure - I am using global closure.
Hi Steve I experienced the same thing and just restarted Empty4 and re-added MPTM again and do the settings all over and also checked that live trading is ticked. I think turning off autotrading and turning it back on a gain somehow keeps the untick on live trading box even when autotrading is back on.
NfP i took the risk of keeping the system on and i got lucky to get a close global cash TP yahoo!
For me the NFP's are a funny thing. I had a basket on a new account (15min charts, 28 pairs, 2% global) that closed for profit as NFP numbers were released. I know that I must have gotten lucky since normally NFP is a disaster....and I started the account only 2 days before NFP. The dd was significant this week.
For all those trading H1, did you allow yours to run through NFP unchanged? Did you get any significant dd this week or during the release.
Just trying to justify the change to H1 if it can survive strong fundamental moves.

Curious, did you get a nice clean trade closure during NFP's while trading 15min or just your H1 account?

Am running FB on 1000$ demo account (1H major pairs +GBPJPY and 1% global closure)
Maximum DD was 8%, Today I have closed my second basket during the NFP which turned the whole DD into nice profit as MPTM slipped a lot in profit
I have removed Geppy as it was the cause of 50% of the basket DD and let's the next basket how it will run
