This is the place where you don't get killed.... I hope. After long lurking the first post...

I did read the whole HGI and Matrix threads and wanted to experiment with the HGB EA.
Never used EA before.... but I was missing so many opportunities trading it manual (being in AU) I thought I should give the EA approach a go.

When putting the HBG on a chart with a new YELLOW range wave it immediately opened the 10 pending trades. I expected HGB to only close trades on a YELLOW wave? I found the same on 2 different pairs.

I would expect HGB only to open the 10 trades on a BLUE wave, as in this case you will get the impulse of a trend to 'use' the 10 opened trades.... and close on the next Yellow or close and open the opposite on BLUE.

I opened the HGB script but could not find any logic that would restrict HGB to only open on BLUE
(but the code is so long that I might easily missed it if it was there.... my code skills are rudimentary at most).

Is the opening at YELLOW as designed and intended?

It is as designed.
HGB treats any wave as a wave, disregarding the colour.

Read the HGB USER MANUAL again.

This is EXACTLY what it says in the manual

Thanks for conformation.

And yes ... I did read everything multiple times.

Just wanted conformation as it was against my thought process of how I was trading HGI manually.
If I see a BLUE I expect a big move and stack a lot of pending trades.
If I see Yellow I expect a range and small moves (or messy price action). I stack less and am much more strict with stop losses.

Apparently that 'way of thinking' is not in the code. I didn't think so ... but wanted to be sure.
I'll have to analyze the results and evaluate the trades to see if my thought process was correct, or that in my manual trading it would be better to treat Yellow waves the same as Blue ones.

Total noob question.
Could someone instruct me as to how I could start a forward test with HGB please?
And also if EA has loaded on all charts, should the smiley face on top right hand corner not be showing on all charts?

Does anyone also have problems with that daily closure thingy? It should have closed down on 4% daily profit, but it didn´t. I experienced this with 2h and 2i. Yesterday, when I closed all trades with the scripts and did the HGB update, HGB showed the message expert stopped because of daily profit target reached.
Were there any changes in the routine? I used that function before these two versions and it worked perfectly.

Any experiencing HGB V2h with the following errors on the expert tab:

HGI_v15.06 AUDUSD, H4: Indicator is too slow, 4040ms, rewrite the indicator please.

A lot of these errors happened on this version, Is it normal.

I am running it on demo, any other members having this problems?

It happens when your CPU hasn´t got enough power. Reduce your pairs or live with it. I am not sure if its affecting HGB. I had the same issues, but it didn´t seem to be a problem.

Thanks for the answer. You are right, my vps cpu is not powerful enough. Need to find more powerful one.
