Thanks kwchau,

It seems to me that many people are seeing confusing behavior with the EA and are too petrified or unsure of what they are seeing to make comment....unfortunately, the fear of persecution is stifling the EA's development...version 2x2 has been downloaded 88 times and I cannot be the only person having these problems....just an observation...

I have tried a number of things and removed all multi trades in an attempt to determine if the EA is open and closing trades consistent with Bob's Holy Grail strategy/Indicator... I figure if the EA is not entering the market in the right direction, then why have the EA open 3 to 5 trades in the wrong direction also....I'm also very concerned about multiple pending trades as the experience from a couple of week ago and the CHF move....I had the EA on one chart and blew up a demo account with 4 pending being entered too early due to spread blow-out and exit well past the stops due to lack of liquidity and shonky crim/liquidity provider actions....what would happen is it was a GBP or USD move and the EA was on multiple charts.....so, if we want stacking i think the EA should control this if possible, and place them in controlled circumstances, e.g. spread check/max slipage....Not just set pending which place them on the brokers servers and expose the trader to risk....

I really like this EA and i hope we can collectively sort out some of it's undesired features...;-)

My observation is that the EA does not have the problem of opening trades in the wrong direction. To avoid any market black swan event, I normally set a big SL of say 300 pips in my live trading just in case. This will also help to alleviate a major harm to my account if there is any problem with the EA. In normal market situation, a SL of 300 pips is unlikely to be hit. The position will be closed well before that by the Opposite signals.

I think this EA should be profitable in the long run.

Hi Dynamic,
What do you mean with not working properly?

Since the last versions the direction of trades and openings has'nt been modified.
it had more to do with the trade management.

@almartins
I think there is somewthing whitin your setfile. In my demos it's working correctly.

Time, is the challenge I am currently facing..
Have to put out some tests, but currently in lack of time to do so..
So, will keep you posted later on..

kwchau, on which tf do you set sl ton 300?
on H4 you might want to take it a bit higher for the rad arrows.

On my live Daily TF. I seldom allow it to reach 300 pips loss, will normally close the loss position earlier.

Have a look at the data field, as there is a line above the candle wich could indicate a old signal.

If it is above the candle, should that have been a short (range sell) ...?

I have been running the EA for awhile first with 2x1 and more recently with 2x2.I am very happy with the EA.
There are a lot of pending trades in the wrong direction which doesn't particularly concern me except for the fact that it might affect the "total trades" to the point that pendings in the proper direction might not be placed. I am also becoming concerned with the increasing drawdown caused by trades taken in the previous trend direction and not being closed out on a signal reversal. Not being a coder and barely computer literate I have no way to properly suggest solutions.

I will work with the set file to see if I can offset some of the problems previously mentioned and hopefully Bonivest can further refine what I believe to be an outstanding EA.
