great live results alovesupreme, any reasons why it was stopped ?

Here are my results running HGB'nG completely hands free for the month of February.

Westco28 just sent me a pm with a couple of bloop alerts. Observant bunch aren't we? Have a glance at your displayed open trades total.

I coded HGBnG to read the single moving average and display the trend it identifies, but did not include it as a trading filter.

These are fixed in both versions of 1m in post 1. The easiest way to make your own changes is to download them into your editor and copy across the code snippets at lines 1826, 1864 and 3272 (1 line) of the trading version.

I was taking a look at the void ReadIndicatorValues() , and looks like that:

BuyCloseSignal / SellCloseSignal = true is not calling any other function.

This is what I understand for the part 2 of the video:

The developer of the systems is buying and selling at the same time on each level. As we know market has three moves/cycles. Goes up, down or sideways. What the ea does is on retracements, it puts some money in a pile called shared profits and divides those shared profits by 2 and puts those funds in another pile called accumulated profits. Shared profits are there to help with the drawdown and can go up or down but the accumulated profits are yours to keep. Shared profits are also used to close losing trades. This way it will build equity slowly but help you keep the ea running for long time so it can keep doing what it does. Which is to ride the up and down waves. Strong trends is when it will go into DD and use up shared profits to stay in the game.

Tricky part is the spread and swap calculations has to be calculated as well in case the ea goes into long term dd. which it will

What I have noticed with this ea testing is that it can make lot's of money in short period of time. Money management is the key. You would not want to run this on small account with large lots.

One of the many thingies I have learned from Tommaso is this: GU often keeps going in the same direction for a long time. Pull your H4 charts out so you can see a long period of time folks, and you will see what I mean.

This persuaded me to leave my GU trades open for a few hundred more pips than I would have done previously. Get a load of this little lot folks - these are my trades today:

I have probably left a fair few pips on the table, but I thought to myself, "You know what? $460 from one group of trades is not a bad result. Let's grab the profit whilst it is going."

The last time my live trading account had this much in it was when I maxed out a credit card to take advantage of the "Cannot possibly lose" EA I was conned with a decade ago.

I did not get those trades - the margin filter prevented them.

I am at last at the stage when the accrued profit is over twice that of current DD. Makes a bloody change.

Okay, gotcha.

Did some bloopspotting myself.....
On the report the EA prints on the screen is twice the same line, telling us the distance between the grid.....
