GA 6 buy, 12 sell -250 floating (0,03/trade)
GN 7 buy, 13 sell -270 floating.

If I have open new grid at DO at GA and GN are near to close, it's not a possibility open new grid to help to close old grid?
Of course it is, but the current vehicle we are using to put the pendings on [GW] isn't able to.
One solution might be to put a 2nd chart for the same pair, with a different magic# with no TP set, and use one of the trademanagers to close all at BE or whatever is desired.

I'm in the process of setting up rules of engagement for this strategy, an dedicated EA will surface out of it in the future.

Yes i'm thinking about that solution. A second question why we place the first buy/sell at 20 pips from DO, in this way we a gap of 40 pips for the first trade and +20 for the second one, +60 for 3rd etc..
It's not "best" to have the open in the middle of a centered grid so from 10 pips away from first buy and first sell?

One day it will be better, the other day not.

Price often spikes around DO, by having some spacing you might be lucky enough to not get a hedge and get a take-off right away.

Watch GBPNZD around rollover, spread goes to 25pips for sure. Having a 20 pip gap instead of a 40 pip gap like it is now will give a hedged pair for sure to start with. This means price has to go an extra 2 levels in order to TP@100.

Yes I'm with you on that point, that's why I think we need a spread filter to avoid open trade if spread is more than XX (if it's possible).

Or just set the EA to open the grid at a later time...

Performing well but I still have improvements to make in setup. On one account it resends the grid whatever settings I use. On the other account it is reluctant to send the first grid - sometimes I have to do this manually. However, on this account it does not resend the grid even if I want it to! The joys of Empty4!

Had a look for other pairs with high volatility/low correlation but not very successful in finding good alternatives. Trading GBPJPY and XAUUSD. One possibility with low correlation is USDMXN. I think on Global Prime it needs 6 rather than 5 digits? Good volatility at different times to GBPJPY.

The other problem I have is that using MPBM to manage GW it works well for the first basket but after the first basket has closed MPBM stops managing and I have to remove and place MPBM again. Is anyone else having this issue?

Low volatility pairs so far.

GBPUSD 10 Day ATR 140, grid set at 15 pips, TP 80 pips. Wins 5 / Losses 1 Target hit. :cheer:

AUDUSD 10 Day ATR 87, grid set at 5 pips (Global Prime has low spreads so this is OK), TP 40 pips. Wins 11 / Losses 4 Target hit. :cheer:

Nice! :yahoo:
I'll make sure the grid and TP settings include ATR possibilities.

I have been using D1 ATR as both the grid size and TP (manually entering this for each pair).
