Such a pity that crude will be dropping soon and making a new 3 pushes downward after attaining it's recent 4 months highs.

Like I said Today is Another Day, I didn't Do Much Trading today as I didn't really Like the Set up on the Currency Pair I Traded so I Came in Morning time and took a Bit of Coins off the Fox

Is there a consensus on which period is the best?

I have always used 20 - I think that originally came from stocks, covering roughly a month of dailies.

10 is fine as it will give you an overall view of how the circles will be playing out within 10 days
