Hi all, my observations. I started this week with
1 set of GJ ,
distance between trades = 5 pips and 10 pips.
Offsetting= on

GJ played ball with reasonable volatility in a 200 pip range mkt.

and another set of EURCHF ( low ADR pair)
started mon with Distance bet trades= 5 pips and went into US open with only 3 trades..Very very slow day with UK holiday. so switched to 3pips. one with Offsetting=On and another OFF. Both quite bad for RnR. but the one without the offsetting is worse.

And best for last, RnREXP started only yesterday.. OOTB. Brillaint!

Recovery continues to work perfectly through the rollover and Asian mkt :hi:

In my opinion, the Recovery feature has not yet been really tested in the last few days. The reason I said that is I am running in parallel the RnR original and RnR EXP with same 9 pairs, same distance pips and same broker demo platform in the last few days. The RnR Original is performing about the same as RnR EXP. Please see the chart below. The first chart is RnR EXP (from May 5 since posted) and the second is RnR Original v1l (from May 3) .

So I think it is still too early to draw any conclusion at all on the Recovery feature, not until there is a huge move, then I think it will show the difference in performance. May be today is the day due to NFP.

Test started: Wednesday 4/5
Pair: EURGBP
Magic no: 0 = Offset ON
Magic no: 1 = Offset OFF

Totally agree, we're still gathering examples / data at the moment so please continue to post results. The recovery mode can be switched off (set to false) and if you put MinPipProfitOnClosure to zero then you're left with essentially the original EA where AllowComplexSingleSidedOffsets in the "standard mode" settings can still be used to switch Single Sided Complex Offsets on or off as in the original. If anyone is planning to set up a demo I would encourage them to run a bare bones instance (recovery and Complex Single both off) in parallel on a different magic number. Ideally this should be done on a different demo account if your VPS can cope with another Empty4 running.

The two demo I am running is using default settings of both the Original and EXP versions except the pip distance (but both demo's have the same pip distance), I believe the only difference between the two default settings is the recovery feature, I hope I am correct.

Ok I've set this up as you've suggested Bruster, with two demo accounts on my VPS. Will give feedback next week. Thank you for all your work.

Update for my live GJ chart since last Friday which I've now left hedged with 3 positions each way and turned off EA until after NFP.. with results this good it's just not worth the risk of keeping on.

I left it on through NFP and it dealt with some chop, this on GJ, after the news the 'close at 0 UPL' worked as instructed where there is a flat spot in the graph. Post 1 and Post 2 refer to previous earlier posts in this thread, this is 3. (For programmers this will be 0,1 and 2)

Hi woodlands, are you using OOTB set for the exp version?
