I had the same errors as Boulder today - and I could not even find the damn trade the blasted bot was whinging about.

Here is what I think is happening:

• HGBnS detects a trade signal and sends the pending trades.
• The Sixths are redrawn and a pending or two end up on the wrong side of the middle line.
• HGBnS tries to set/reset the tp to the middle line, which is impossible.

I will sort this out tomorrow. Probably, the pendings that end up on the wrong side of the middle line need deleting.

Teething problems only. HGBnS is fuckin amazing.

Bob's recent and brilliant CSS with HGI posts have reminded me it may be preferable to only trade the turn back into the higher trend if there is one so that we are buying the dips in an uptrend etc rather than counter trend.

Could your CSS filter be activated in the code to test this in due course Steve?

My 2 demos are setup, one with Stop only and the other with Stop and Limit orders.

Just waiting for trade triggers now!

Not sure if this will help but I just got the order open error with the following

It was trying to open the order on the middle line and use the middle line as take profit.

I just had a long loll in the bath.

Using CSS turns HGBnS into a trend trader re-entering the trend after a deep retrace. It makes sense to be able to set a more distant take profit target and send more grid trades to take advantage of the trend resumption.

I have set up two more inputs under the TakeProfitPips input that allows us to choose our own tp sixths line. I describe how in post 1.

I just loaded up the latest and noticed that I had not turned the DCC time frame into one of those dinky little ENUM's that ensures we can only enter an appropriate time frame. I have replaced this in 1g without bothering to change the version.

Easy change to make yourselves. Copy this over the top of line 274:
extern ENUM_TIMEFRAMES CssTf=PERIOD_D1;

V 1h is in post 1. You do not need this update if you are not using Limit orders as well as Stop orders (AddLimitOrders input).

Dan pm'd me to say he was getting 'invalid stop' errors and the limit orders not being sent. I had got my '+' and '-' the wrong way around. So:

should be
price = Ask - (DistanceBetweenTrades / factor);

price = Bid - (DistanceBetweenTrades / factor);

should be
price = Bid + (DistanceBetweenTrades / factor);
