Hi Leon!
Interesting one.
What TF do you run MADDY on with this setfile?
The reason I ask is that when I have CSS enabled in MADDY and then change TF on the diagram then what currencies are red/green change. And I think that CSS and diagram TF is related. I may be wrong but don't think so.

Hi Mathias a very broad question and not sure I am with you...the maddy dashboard being a singular indicator and filter of many time frames is the signal to run with Mad trader ea v 1.1....diff t/frames have been posted with set files a few pages ago,

There is just something I need to add. As much as we look at candle open and closing being broken on various time frames from 5 minutes up to the 4 hour t/frame...trades can be very successful if there are trending conditions but none more than daily open t/frames and in my years of following Nanningbob there is nothing more indicative and unsettling than a daily opening being lower than the day before and vice versa which is an indication that there is a temporary reversal or trend change in progress..we need to be careful either way and for the more patient, it might be good to include the daily time frame in your maddy dasboard..

The market is very unsettled and best to be observed.....Demo is fine

It might be a coincidence but when I have UseCSSDiffFilter enabled and flip back and forth with the TF on the diagram where MADDY is placed, for me it seem to make a difference.
When I disable UseCSSDiffFilter in MADDY and change TF on the diagram I don't see the same behaviour.
That is why I ask.
But if it does not matter I will just leave it.

Hi Guys

When working with open and closing of candles like used with 1 Ma set to open and 1 ma set to close, and I touched a bit on that yesterday, with including the daily t/frame in the dashboard which seemed to have settled my results a bit and also cutting down the amount of trades opened....but I have gone a step further in including the weekly time frame on the same settings obviously with a further look back period...kinda stretching it a bit

but I am happy to say looks promising.

Nevertheless, the action will start tomorrow thursday with the Uk referendum and I have received warnings from my broker with increased margin requirements etc. so fasten your seat belts and no time to have money in the market unless you really have sufficient margin....

Thanks Buddy. I am happy to say that my demo has maintained so far today, As mentioned yesterday I am including the weekly time frame in my Maddy dashboard test results,,,,was up 700 pips at one stage today and back down 184 pips open and closed....to be expected with Brexit news looming upon us and especially early tomorrow morning with polls being finalized and let alone the weekly opening Gap with Gu not closed, so I do expect or at least think so for the Gap to be filled with well...a "remain"vote a possible spike down and then up....Lord have mercy if a Brexit possible huge move down..either way the sparks will fly...

1. Maddy : strong/weak pair established(highlight)
2. Madtrader : wait entry condition to be established
3. Maddy : highlight is disappear before Madtrader entry condition is met

Whether Madtrader quit to find entry point or not ?

Hello windorz,

For MADTrader, to enter a trade All entry conditions need to be valid at the same time.

So, what happens is this: MADDY updates itself every CycleTimeSeconds. And the end of such update, it forwards the Strong/Weak information for each currency to MADTrader (in fact to every open chart). Once MADTrader receives these updates from MADDY, it will set its internal currency strong/weak data accordingly. MADTrader itself also runs on a timer (MADTrader's default CycleTimeSeconds is 5 (seconds)). So, every CycleTimeSeconds, MADTrader will go through all its currency pairs it has been configured to work with, and checks if their base currency is STRONG and their quote currency if WEAK (or vice versa) and if the currency pair satisfies any of the additional entry criteria. If and only if, all these conditions are valid, it will go ahead with the trade for the currency pair.
