SR/SD and the PA that describes it

Looking at DAX at the moment.

I use SR to gauge direction then trade PA on retest.

It's not really a "system" as such, so in retrospect not even sure this stuff is in the right thread...

Some DAX follow up...

M15 sellers showed their cards and off it went. I, however, was sitting in the park eating a sandwich - weather's too nice not to.

I miss quite a few entries like this - in other words not being glued to the screen. I had at one time considered buying a lightweight laptop and taking it with me to lunch but that defeats the object of having quality downtime - essential in our game. Nay bother, there's always another trade. And looking on the bright side, it's always good to know that one's analysis is on the right side of the curve.

This is a clear case of trying to predict where the market is "going to go", i.e. placing this morning's alert at the higher price, instead of saying, "the market "may" go here, here or here", placing alerts at all decision points, and remaining fluid to the situation. I have to say that it's also symptomatic of having too many small charts crammed onto a single monitor. Time's come to expand up to a 4 x monitor setup and dedicate 1 x pair/screen. It's the only way I can properly judge the "battlefield".

Bit quiet in here. Be good to talk with other traders in real-time, especially those on the same page regarding SD/SR.

Took another look at this pair. Haven't watched EURCAD for some time. Be interested to see how our analysis compares. U wanna post up some D1/M30 charts as well?

I usually only have 1 or 2 zones on any chart and it's the ones i deduce having the most unfilled orders on.
came really close to shorting the daily when it was in the zone.
