very useful both indicators especially MTF TrendDir as long I use three EMAs to determine direction.
have you or know a dashboard with this indicator that on a one screen show all available instruments for the broker?

Thanks alot for the Trend Direction Indicator.
the big issue with this indicator is that it only works with exponential moving averages's for line 1,2,and 3
I have tried mod it, am still a fledging coder and still a bit new to your code. It keeps coming up with errors and your coding skills (for being the original author) could be of great help here.

what am suggesting is to give freedom to the user to choose for each of the 3 lines either:
// MA_Method= 0: SMA - Simple Moving Average
// MA_Method= 1: EMA - Exponential Moving Average
// MA_Method= 2: Wilder - Wilder Exponential Moving Average
// MA_Method= 3: LWMA - Linear Weighted Moving Average
// MA_Method= 4: SineWMA - Sine Weighted Moving Average
// MA_Method= 5: TriMA - Triangular Moving Average

I have attached an indicator moded by Tommaso (Milanese) that gives these options above to the user to choose their preferred MA method. The problem is that it draws for only 1 line. For example: 3 EMA vs 5MA vs 8MA catches short term trends better than the 5 EMA vs 20 EMA vs 36 EMA. In short, a mix of different ma methods is far much better in catching short term trends/retracements.

Kindly help 2 merge these 2 indicators, This would make it into a greater Trend Indicator. Thanks for the share and any further mods

Can you select the MA_Method for each line, or is it more like a blanket MA_Method for every line?
Can you select:

Line 1 MA_Method: 1
EMA1_period: 3

Line 2 MA_Method: 0
EMA2_period: 5

Line 3 MA_Method: 0
EMA3_period: 8

Thank you Fulla for the indi update. Now your MTFTrendDirection_mod is in all my charts, cant trade without it
May I ask please if I dont bother you add an alert mode when the selected (stfs) are in agreement?
