Search and read the thread, you will find the answers. If you start from zero, then start from page No1. If you read and still dont understand stg, then ask but add a chart and tell us what you see and what causes your confusion.

Like others, I have read & continue to read the thread. But I too have noticed that some people say level 1 starts with the new structure high / low..... and others show charts designating that level 1 starts somewhere after the new structure high / low has been made. I think I've even seen the same discrepancy in some of the charts that CJ has posted. The counts appear to start in different places. I can't give you a specific post right now cuz my laptop overheated & crashed, & im now on a cell phone only until a replacement arrives. But keep in mind that just cuz people ask questions, does not mean they haven't read the thread or are currently working thru the thread.

the good news is that it is full of examples in this topic.

the bad news is that the real problem is not understanding the difference between levels and push

the theory says, 3 push make a level

Nice chart fiox. Thank you. And I see that your first push is designated as the price high to the new structure low. That's what has been confusing me.... is that first new structure low / high "the first push"? Or does the count start on the push after that one (the one that you have marked as push 2).?

I appreciate your explanation & chart. That clarifies things for me.

I think the answer is, it depends. Keep in mind "Levels occur over DAYS...pushes occur during the day...."

generally you have 3 push for each level, but the charts are full of examples where this is not true.

the point is that the market is not as rigid as many thinks. In this case, if you know how count levels, you know that this is level 1 completed, so you can easily count 3 push in this level.

Also, count the levels is very subjective, imagine how much count the pushes is subjective

Yep, I've got the "levels over days", "pushes inside of levels" part. Good to go on that. Plus, "level three becomes level one in the opposite direction". Got that too. But where & when to start the first push count away from level three has eluded me. Sometimes it takes a couple tries to find the correct count & entry. Which, relatively speaking, isn't all that terrible. But I'm still curious.
