FX VPS - Cheaper and faster than the rest!

Have you tried dragging the file into the window? Other than that I'm not too sure.

Yep. Made no difference.

Odd. Pasting worked fine until yesterday.

I just tried copy pasting a user guide to the Beeks vps and there was no trouble accepting the paste. The operation could not complete because of 'insufficient disk space' mind.

Several pm's have passed back and forth between myself and Eaymon this evening.

Everything is sorted out. He really will pull out all the stops to sort out a problem.

Just remember he has to sleep from time to time, OK? I.E. don't panic if his response is not instantaneous. He was awake when my problem arose, which is pure good luck. Help him grow so that he can employ out of hours staff.

I also had a copy and paste issue. Initially copy and paste worked fine then all of a sudden I got an Unknown error when attempting to paste onto the VPS. I suspect the fault lay at my end because I shut down the connection, rebooted my PC and the issue disappeared and I am again able to copy and paste to the VPS without issue.

One thing I did notice though and will continue to monitor is the fact that I have the power package and have opened four Empty4's. Twice now when logging in one instance of the four open MT4s has closed and not the same instance each time. Probably nothing but will speak to Eaymon if it continues.

Other than that since joining on Sunday night due to Steve's recommendation very happy with the service and excellent support from Eaymon. :hi:

Thank you very much for your feedback. I try to be as helpful as possible.

If it does re-occur please try to monitor what happened before you closed the instance. maybe try minimizing the windows before closing the session?

Thanks Eaymon, just happend again and all Empty4 were maximized so have now minimized them and logged out. Will login again @ 22:00 before the daily rollover and see what happens.

I have experience now of both Beeks and Eaymon's VPS. About the only thing they have in common is this: minimising everything you do not need to see at the time you are viewing it cuts down cpu use dramatically and allows us to run more demos.

Minimise all charts within the platform, then minimise the platform itself. You only have to play with the platforms for a few minutes with Task Manager running to watch the cpu use drop every time you minimise something, and rise hugely every time you view something.

Hey guys, I just had reason to visit the BeeksFX website - they are hosting my live trading account and there has been no connection to it today.

Compare their prices with what is on offer today and you will be blown away https://www.beeksfinancialcloud.com/vps ... ng-Empty4-mt5: compare their top of the range at $85 a month (6-8 platforms) with Eaymon's $40 a month Power VPS at $40 a month, where I am running 8 demos at the mo and with plenty of space to spare.

OK, so if you are a GP client (and I cry for those unable so to be) and trade above certain levels then GP will pay for the VPS but for the rest of us there is no comparison.

Not knocking BeeksFX - they are doing what any commercial organisation will do and charge what they figure they can get. I am bumping Eaymon's service again; deservedly so.
