From the look of your chart, I believe SPB is doing it correctly.

When placing the pendings, the market is still 20? or 30? pips away from the first pending, and probably was JUST in the lower half of the 6th when getting the D1 SS signal.

Nice thought but no. It is only supposed to send buy trades when Peaky indicates long and here it was indicating short, which is correct.

Is it possible that the look back is not taking all of the history when determining the Peaky divisions? its the only thing I can think of that would account for 3 different outcomes using the same version unless there is a major bug somewhere, but given you've checked this seems unlikely.

Re BasketTrailingStop closing trades prematurely (for me)
Believe found a solution. In

routine, we group Cash & Pips processes together.
eg

and similar for Pips components. After doing this, BasketTrailingStopCash triggered & worked fine.

lines & he is right, this would have obviated the //Pips target & //Cash target sections, but I had found them closing trades prematurely.

I have this EA with NoOfBarsOnChart = 800 and has made 3 buy trades since June 26th as Steve says.
Maybe the historical data wasn't loaded well after last weekend?

SPB is running on VPS. The pic is taken from my desktop where I code and monitor my live trades. The Peak HiLo is correctly showing the trading direction as short.......................................Any of you guys got any ideas?

Not going to be able to help with any coding ideas but just to give you an idea of what others are seeing I put Peaky (OOTB) on an AUDNZD chart and this is what it shows. There are 4 instances of SPB running on this GP demo account; 2xD1SS-H1PK and 2xD1SS-H4PK.

Hope this in some way helps.

Nice one. This sent me looking in the right place.

I had mine and Gareth's max bars on the platform set to 1000. PJ's is a recent platform with the full complement of over 50000 bars.

Problem solved. Not the code. Just Steve being an idiot. <Ignores chorus of, "As usual.">

I am writing this mid-Thursday. I am getting WE HAVE REACHED OUR WEEKLY PROFIT TARGET. I HAVE STOPPED TRADING UNTIL NEXT WEEK.

I had inadvertently set UseTradingDoneForTheWeek to Thursday but my WeeklyCashTarget was set well above my actual profits. After I discovered it, I changed UseTradingDoneForTheWeek, UseDynamicWeekelyTargetCash, and UseDynamicWeekelyTargetPips all to FALSE, yet I am still getting the STOPPED TRADING message. I tried shutting SPB down then restarting, to no avail. Is there a way to resume trading, or must I truly wait until next week?

A quiet week this week with just four baskets closing - two on my main trading account and one each on the other two. The total profit was $240, so the accumulated total over all three accounts since going live is $1704.

As a side note, I have left the original demo accounts running on Eaymons VPS. The $500 starter account has more than tripled to $1645.

It is a similar story with Gareth's account. I had run it down to c. $226 and now it is worth just three dollars short of $700 and flat for the weekend.

Given my ambition to create an auto trader that total noobs can run safely on a tiny starter account, this is good news.
