Hello all,
A indicator I use is the Schaff Trend. Much faster than the lagging MACD.
If possible, can someone make it TDesk-compatible ? If user inputs " min level =10", "max level=90", "crossover=50" could be added, that would make it perfect.

Hey thomasmore,

I tried your settings with the TDI MTF, I have rewritten for TDesk signaling. It seems to do the exact same trick for you. You can also hide all other lines to let it look exactly the same. In case it is not smooth enough, you can use the new feature called Exponential Smoothing.

If this doesn't suit your demand, let me know...

TDesk is a ridiculously complicated piece of kit that responds to signals sent it from umpteen indicators set up to respond to them.

TDesk is astonishingly accurate. It is coded by Thomas to a level of expertise that you cannot even begin to understand.

We are talking unbelievable levels of accuracy here.

thanks for the comment I believe this indicator was from Thomas "official" indicators collection

maybe its the setting IgnoreOpenCandles tried switching back & forth im not sure what it could be as I have no coding experience

Nope. Nobody ever said AllAverages would signal where the price is in relation to the average. AllAverages does the most basic thing that can be done with an average which is signaling it's slope. If you want to signal the price-average relation to TDesk, you have to use the AllAverages Cross indicator with FastPeriod set to 1 and FastPrice set to 0.

Would you have any coding experience, you would know that coders tend to test their works before releasing them. At least such simple ones as indicators. So next time you think to have found an evident fault in something that is used by many others without complaint, think twice. The error might be on the user side, not on the coding side.

And then avoid words like "bug" when you are asking for something you don't understand. Coders (and very much the forum owner) react allergical to users doing so. As you have already seen.

I will do as you've suggested on the AllAverages Cross im trying out different setups will post back on anything positive

I have a better one with slope alert, any body can help to change it to TD compatible. Credit should go to MrTools of Forex-station.

Thanks for the mod, will try it out.

I have just loaded into indicators folder of empty4 but found 2 errors and 1 warning, see image attached:

So, it could not be compiled.
