This mornings basket at 7.30am London time. Not sientific but I want to grab that 1% + profit when I can so I have some TP, I have this problem, I keep sitting up late at night and playing with the calculator compounding figures at a rate of 1% a day driving me mad

Here's my basket entry for today, I got in a little early I think but hoping it will go into profit soon.

Nice one Will. I still reckon Wednesday is big move day so let's hope we get some action today. I'm still holding Monday's basket, up 100 pips atm, long way to go for my 600 pip TP.

Started a basket earlier that went 120 pips into the red but now has swung 80 into the green. Just followed the rules for the most part. Let's see where the day goes.

Probably like a lot of others on this basket journey what I want to see is consistency, from your prospective is it looking better to grab daily momentum or let baskets run over a few days or both ?

Sorry about the RED baskets guys, that was my fault, sold the EUR-NZD and the market is always out to inflict maximum pain on me each & every trade I make!

Hey Barron,

I think everyone here is trying different things which is great. The most important thing is consistency and if I close out baskets early I can't judge the consistency of the strategy. So at the moment I am setting a TP and SL and then letting it run until either gets hit. I don't launch more than one basket at a time so sometimes I have a basket open for a whole week watching it swing up and down.

It's up to you if you want to close profits early but just beware of skewing your R:R unfavourably.

Notting wrong in taking that trade Snowman have look at my earlier posted basket
I just put on one extra short when the price came down again that's about 1000% NanningBob.
no problem if your lot size is in balance , MM is the key to survive in forex.
