I've been doing this too but using slope level as a guide too. I am using primarily H4 charts but use the D1 slope level. For example if the H4 slope direction is up but the D1 slope level is still significantly negative <-0.8 then I expect price to move up but I treat it as a retracement and look to enter when the slope turns down again.lucklogic wrote:Garyfitz..............Or maybe you combine them? Go long when Slope > 0.4 AND Slope is increasing?
I'll throw it out there and let some of you creative types take a whack at it.......
I've being doing this for the last couple of weeks - it definitely seems better to me
I basically adjust how I view potential price action that the slope direction indicates based on the D1 level.
I am still playing around with it and trying different combos of slope/diff etc but it is working pretty well so far.
