My basket was positive this morning but has swung about 25 pips negative in the last two hours. Lots of room yet so hopefully it will wake up.

Jason, the AddSunday logic affects TMA some but it's not hyper-critical. But for the DWM pivots I would DEFINITELY use it. Otherwise by default the indicator assumes the "week" ends at midnight Sunday crim time -- meaning that the "week" includes the Sunday open instead of ending on Friday.

To help myself get organized, I made up a one-page worksheet, that I make with every basket. I thought it might prove useful to others.

I just print out this form, then hand-write in the pairs I am watching.

It's nothing earth shattering, just my $0.02 worth.

...I'm looking at the D1 direction more than the D1 level. So e.g. AUDCHF still has a pretty good level but the D1 TMA trend is heading the wrong way. I'd be tempted to short it even though the TMA is positive...

Has anybody already made some kind of slope-differential-indi, which, as I understand it - would be what you base your decision on?

Neotrader has just been applying MAs to the TMA Slope indicator. For visual signals that works fine.

thanks murphyman. u have simplified my work. all need to add is how the pivots are alligned MWD or DWM. cheers

All looks very choppy on the daily's at the moment Lots ranging and trends tested so on a basket front its just stand aside at the moment for me, unless you trade each on its own merit like Bob.

Meanwhile I'm testing Nanningbob 10.2 auto-trading EA, got some issue but will report them in the right thread.

I have a basket open which initially began with one trade and as MA's were hit with the London open so I've added additional trades to the adaptive basket which is moving along well.

In ranging markets it's difficult to find pairs to work with, but there is usually at least one with some movement you can grab.

I've also attached my method of tracking the pairs index I create each week with a view to at some point filling and launching trades into the basket. I'm still testing various MM techniques to get the R:R up to scratch. Hope it helps the guys getting used to the basket method of trading NB10.2

Not a lot happening at the moment - which I think is a good thing! It's easy to know when NOT to trade with this method. I am watching the following pairs though for possible entry later in the week...

For AU, NU, GN, GA the pivots are no longer aligned. I see you still keep them in the your watch basket als long as the D1 TMA slopes are >+/-0.4.

I am only left with GC and UC, and also I would add CJ.
