An unhijacked helper for Evaluator's SAFT trading system

I would greatly appreciate if anyone running the helper ea share your experience please.

I would be away from my laptop during the day from next week and hence would not be able to draw the chart trendline. Will try to adapt the ea to enter on close above/below 50 SMA on M15 charts (LDHT on FF apparently finds this works for him using his ea).

Will report results if successful. Will open another thread to report this to avoid contaminating this one.

It looks as though I had coded a calculation that doubled the number of pips in the stop loss, so that doubling again for the take profit was 4 times the stop. No wonder those tp's were such a long way away.

It looks as though it might have been possible to set a stop loss at a fractal that was, for example, higher than the open price of a buy trade. This would cause a trade to close immediately it opened. I have fixed this.

There my still be bugs.

It is a pity my FXCM demo is showing off quotes today.

There was a potential profitable trade on EURUSD this morning. The ea was trying to send a buy order with a break of trendline but failed with error warning "off quotes".

I also posted SAFT with LDHT's settings on FF http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread. ... ost5963371 post #235.

We have been having reports of tech issues on our Empty4 platform this week. Primarily it has been affecting demos, but some live accounts may also have been affected.

If anyone has a live Empty4 account with us that had a trade adversely affected due to a tech issue, please email me the details at jrogers@fxcm.com. The Trade Audit Committee can look into what happened and make a credit to your account for losses resulting from a tech issue on our end.

Our tech team is working to resolve this issue with our Empty4 platform. When the trading desk closes this weekend they will be able to implement some fixes to the Empty4 servers. I apologize for the inconvenience.
