Winning/losing trades or days?

Ahh. Sorry about the ambiguity.

Since this is a once a day method with multiple trades within it -- I was thinking days. This will help as we try to track down which or how many DAYS have a problem.

EDIT: This just caused a thought to pop in my head.... what do we do with trades that last into the next day (such as today.)

We could make a switch that enables or disables trades lasting over one day. Ie, End the trade at the end of day? TRUE/FALSE

EVEN BETTER (because this would let me test another filter on this thing that I have been thinking about): We have a trading start time, can we have a trading end time where at that hour it ends all positions?

I feel really bad asking you to do all this -- one thing leading to another and all!! It's just I think the PRICETRAP indi is better/faster than trying to use STester for backtesting.

I can only offer a thorough testing and all my results as a bribe. Plus I really think there is something to this method. For some reason I ain't given' up until a certain lady starts singing!

Here's an interim version for you to start testing with. It includes ADR and ATR calculations you suggested and displays the overall results in a box on the screen (you can double click on the box and move it around and the text will follow on the next tick.)

The summary box looks like this:

It will also display the ADR and ATR settings as appropriate.

Let me know if you find any issues.

Dragos, i think theres a bug in the recent EA version. I can't turn off the LevelOffset dinamic calculation thingie. It keeps altering the Pending order distances even when AutoLevelsOffset= false.

Also i am getting many invalid stops errors when the ea tries to open the grid. It seems that the EA has got problems when the candle it uses to open the grid has a big spread. Perhaps there should be an option so that the EA opens the grid when candle width = < spread input by user.
For example : Grid opening time is set to = 8:00 GMT on close.
If the 8:00 candle has a High Low / or Open Close Spread greater than lets say 20 pips the EA waits for the next candle beeing inside the 20 pips range and then opens the grid.

Can u recheck this please ?

Sure, the errors are due to errors in AutoLevels calculation, but i'll check as soon as possible. Mine has been trading ok both pairs today, with AutoLevel.

Errors corrected. Spread I think has nothing to do with those errors, as 1st order is at 15 pips from ask at least....

Also, new options in the new upgrade, posted as usual, in post 1.
