Closed out all my trades for the week, in the less than month of running 10.2 I am over 1200 pips which sounds great to me for very little work.

Can you post the details of your trades?

All the trades I have where entered off TMA, I would go long or short on anything over 0.8 or -0.8 then I would go to the charts and then have shelly now EA enter them and close out as a basket.

I do manually close trades if I see them get close to a monthly pivot level and I don't think they will break through.

* Any time ANY pair went outside +/- 0.8 you immediately went long/short?
* Then you just added them to a ShellyNow basket for TP/SL handling? (What TP/SL?)
* And you closed out trades that seemed to be hitting resistance?

Sorry was doing this from my phone earlier and didn't go into much detail. I was originally just trying to see how basic I could get this system. I would normally check the TMA indi around London Open which is Monday morning for me. Once I saw which pairs where +/- 0.8 I would input them into Shelly Now and have adaptive TP 50 adaptive SL 75. I normally don't wait for the basket to close out and just have it there in case something happens while I am sleeping etc and I can make sure pips are locked in. If nothing is closed out when I wake up during the week I check to see what pivot levels are around the pairs I have open and decide to close certain pairs depending on that. Also double check no major news events such as NFP for example that happened this past Friday that can move markets drastically.

I will be starting this week to use Bobs 10.2a October update, since I do like the template he is using to watch pairs. But I still use my info screen to see TMA slopes and see what pairs are ranging or trending.

What time frame are you using? D1? There hasn't been much on this time frame recently.

Hi, New to basket trading...Do I attach the ShellyNOw EA to the chart and then add the pairs or how and where do I add pairs and how do I intiate trade for the basket?

You can provide the buy/sell pairs as inputs to ShelleyNow, and ShelleyNow will enter the trades for you. That's the way I was using it.

Or I'm pretty sure you can enter the trades yourself, before or after launching ShelleyNow, and ShelleyNow will take over management of them.

for me tho I am not seeing much in the way of D1 +-0.8. trades
so basically not trading.
Initially when Jem put this out there, chart was full of those 0.8 trades,and i did well just off those, but last 6 weeks or so very little.
Or am i missing something?
would appreciate a heads up if there is another way. I know NB has his method, explained well, but i sleep during those times. my excuse anyway.

Yes I am using D1 right now, there where more in the beginning but the +/- 0.8 are hard to come by, so I am starting to use Bob 10.2a Oct template to see if trades over +/- 0.4 are setup to break a daily pivot.
