Hehe. Glenn, you are bonkers. 7% risk? You are nuts. :lol:

Having said that, I can back up what George is saying. Groups of trades appear to go into dd and then recover. The ea is surviving under pressure of bugger-all market movement that is driving us all nuts.

Bob says that Slope gives us a glimpse into the future. If this really is true, then it makes sense that an increasing slope angle will ultimately take a buy into profit, and vice-versa for a sell.

So, think how good this might be if the blasted markets ever start trending again. AUDxxx look the most likely for now and they will be buys; imagine all that loverly positive swap on top of the rising prices.

SS is the most quietly spoken, yet most encouraging bots I have coded for a long time.

Nice one, Bob.

Roger that, Steve. :lol: Like Macman, I thought I would see if it can be broken.
The money I used is as real as Federal Reserve Notes, or fairly close :shock: , methinks.

Yep, only way to see if a bot can be broken is by trying to break it. Want to change your username to Macman2? :lol:

Hello,

Line 150 in Slopey Slope EA is: double HtfBuyCloseLevel=0;

Shouldn't be : double HtfBuyCloseLevel=0.7;?

Because line 152 is : double HtfSellCloseLevel=-0.7;

Hi Ovisun,
that is something you would correct when you manually enter your settings for slope, either as an extern when you attach the EA to your chart, or when you are browsing the code as you were when you spotted the input. Hardcoding is always best anyway, but tedious when just testing different slope settings.
Steve would not expect to run slope with the settings all at zero and one sticking out like a soar thumb with 0.7 input. :lol: :lol:
regards and hope that helps,
cuz

It is irrelevant. These variables are not extern's because they are not used.

V 1e is in post 1. It is emerging in the Gday thread that the call to ChartBars() in int init() is causing some platforms to freeze. 1e has this removed.

:oops: Sorry Steve and ovisun, jumped to answer without checking properly.
Thank you for the update, never had that problem as only running on 5 charts, but will open up a few more now with new version on main pair charts, no exotics.

And to explain further.

All my ea's are coded frm my shells. When creating an ea from one of my shells, I tend not to delete unwanted code because the moment I do so, the code suddenly becomes wanted again. So, my ea's contain a lot of redundant code. ovisun found an example of such redundant code.
