10.3 SCALPER/RANGE TRADE SYSTEM

Well it is getting near to 0 hour for me. I will setting up my first trades for the day in less than an hour. More wins than losses, winners bigger than my losers. Jealous that I cant hedge. Oh well， as they say at NASA T minus 55 minutes. I have to go teach 3rd & 4th grade science and then go set my trades. Catch up with you later.

Sorry Bob, but you are missing the point my friend. And as long as you don't "get it", then you'll come back with an answer that does no good to hear. Sorry, but true. The person asked a question, and IMO they have a valid point. A buy on one criminal and a sell signal on another criminal. My response is if they were using the daily open and pivot indicator I gave then they should see what you see, and they should see the same thing on different criminals. THAT's the point. But it still allueds you. Is it because you don't understand or just don't want to talk about the fact that not everyone is using your broker and they can get VERY different results because of it (if not using my indicator, but using an earlier one)?

BTW, some may have noticed that when using the CORRECT pivot indicator for daily (mine), then you should have better R:R then just putting any daily pivot indicator on there.

Using today (November 19) as a case in point;

YES the red line DO cross has worked its magic, AGAIN.
YES the DS/DR levels have worked their magic, AGAIN
YES Baluda's fib levels both DRFib1 and DRFib2 both have worked their magic too; allowing for profit taking and order re-entry upon retraces.

Maybe it´s magic. But with which crimimal? Different criminals, different signals. One say SELL, the other Buy. One say 36 pips to DR1, the other 5 pips to DR1.

You are missing the point, on both charts there are profitable trades and on both charts there are no trade days. No matter which chart I use I would make money. You are too busy focusing on different numbers instead of the market movement.

Re: your EA v Steve's MPTM, do you or do you not use your own 'best_price' EA instead? I kind of lost the emphasis.

BTW, have you looked at using relative currency or currency pair strengths in various TFs as a guide? For example, Baluda (based on TMA Slope) or hanover (FFs) price based one?

You won't have to worry about another update from me. I've got nothing but grief and misunderstanding or sgruggs for my endeavors from most, so I give. Bob wins. Others lose. Who cares.

Everybody must be using Cowboy IBFX, no big deal if they're not, at least according to Bob, so I'm done beating this dead horse. If Bob cared what other people were seeing, he would have listened by now. But it's obvious he only cares what he is seeing and his signals and don't care if they match anyone else's signals they're getting. So people lose and wonder why? Who cares.

Don, none of us are deaf. Yelling your message in caps lock does nothing to increase understanding.

I simply don't use your work because it grinds my twin processor 2 Gig RAM PC into the dirt. And quite literally, I have no interest in trying to remember what you have said about what works and doesn't work in your indy stuff.

Perhaps I will revisit your indy when and if it becomes resource efficient and is presented as a finished and working tool.

Don, perhaps your personal situation is causing your lack of patience & tolerance, but I think it is time that you relax a little and start to show some respect to Bob! The tone of your posts and the way you keep hammering away on this issue of open times is really getting quite unpleasant & annoying. It is disappointing to see that this thread is heading down to the unruly level of most threads at FF and that is something that is rarely seen here on Steve's forum.

Remember (or perhaps you aren't aware) that Bob has a fairly long history of successful Live trading to the tune of approximately 10% per month using systems he has developed over the years, so I think it is pertinent to keep this in mind, especially when you consider that (by your own admission) you have NOT been successful with your own trading.

In my neck of the woods, if someone is successful and willing to share like Bob does, the smart ones pay attention and listen and learn! Those that are less smart are usually too busy focusing on their own agenda and end up missing out on valuable lessons & experience and quite often fail in the process.

In regards to your indy...if you feel Bob and others don't 'Get It', then perhaps you can start your own thread to post & continue working on it in the Indicator thread http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... m.php?f=21.

Personally for me, like DancingPhil I can't keep track of what works/doesn't work and along with the cpu issues I don't use it either. BUT I am having success trading 10.3 in a similar vein to what Bob is advocating in this thread.

It's hard to not get excited when price hits those 3rd level Fibs Baluda.

Setting pending stop orders for when price moves back inside the 3rd level is usually such a classic Counter Trend trade to stamp all over hardcore.

If you coded such an MultiCounterTrendFib EA, even I'd stop only trading the one currency. The mind boggles actually, because even a single currency Counter3rdLevelFib EA to nail Monthly, Weekly and Daily Fibs would rock.

I think my point is simple. He thinks his strategy is simple. Yet I can understand his strategy, but he can't understand my point: why others aren't seeing what he sees, and he doesn't care.

Am I lying? I think there's plenty of evidence of Bob saying what it looks like on Cowboy IBFX, saying open doesn't matter. Really? Anyways, this is too sad to be funny. Not for Bob and not for some of you, but others that have had problems, will have problems, and will get the same old crap responses.

Bob does have a simple system. And I've made an indicator to help trade that system. Bob has left it in later pages so people are still picking up old stuff on post #1 just like the person who asked the question and by pics was obviously using the original indicators. That was the problem, yet Bob couldn't just say use the newer indicators and daily open, pivot, and S/R would be fixed, instead of giving crap response to that poster. Why? It's these kinds of responses over YEARS that made me want to fix it. And I've fixed it , and Bob still gives poster crap response instead of pointing that poster to the indicator that corrects the problem.

For those that care, and want your times to be synced to bankers on all timeframes, you really have no choice but to use offline charts from link given in thread earlier.

And if my indicators are bogging you down, then why not make it update less often? I'm sure you can do it. I'm not needed.
