Strategy Quant Wizard

I got an email for this Strategy Quant Wizard for $99, which supposedly allows one to make their own EA's. It looks pretty good to me from watching the video (he shows how to do volatility based entries and exits), so I thought I'd mention it. I'm not an affiliate and haven't bought it yet. If this needs moved to the commercial section that's fine, I wasn't sure where to post it.

Not sure - but I dont like these 99$ advertisings ... all the same outfit telling you: "Pay only 99$ - best: without any knowledge (about the forex battle), without any (hard) work - BUT get a millionar soon - very very soon ... I think usually only the "producers" of these kind of bots get rich ... just my 2 cents ...

Saw a lot of these advertisings during the last 4-5 years ... I think where are thousends of these "HG's" in the net ... nearly no one of them is working if you read the fx-forums

That is largely true, but not always. This however is a EA creation wizard, not an EA. I recently bought two EAs for $99: BBEA and Forex Pips Bag, which will likely be profitable for the next 10 years, but this is rare.

Fx93, why are you so confident in BBEA and Forex Pips Bag? I don't see anything about BBEA, but FPB's myfxbook account isn't too exciting. It's gone up and down but for the last 3 month's it's dead flat.

For one both have 12 year backtests supporting them. FPB survived well for the past 25 years, but BBEA V3 didn't do as well.

and seeing the montecarlo iteration bad graph, you see the green line is still profitable. This means the strategy has a nice edge that it is hard for the market to erase (though that backtest is a bit different than BBEA V3's). Both bots have guys behind them that are active at increasing profit too, so I think both should do well long term. It's just my opinion.

I bought it and have been very happy with it so far. The support is excellent and for the money it is an excellent product. You can also get a 25% discount through Donnaforex at http://www.donnaforex.com/forum/index.php?topic=6939.0

Having said that, it won't do everything. The best way is to learn how to program, which is what I am also trying to do but this is a great start.
