If it gets there, it will probably be a good trade.

I can't give you the links, but there have been some interesting posts here, with lots of data, saying that if you get to R1 you should go long (vice versa for S1).

right.. just making sure i'm doing this correctly.. however AO is red.. but it will turn green when we hit that area.. so set a pending at WR1

The rules line up on USDCHF. But you can't enter long at WMR1 unless you want to buy into that massive toppy formation. WR1 pretty much tops out its strength for the week if it can even get close to it... frankly if it did I would take the other side of the 10.4 Longs all day long. I would be a buyer @WS1. Right now the pair is dead even though the lights are on.

I'm watchin NZD pulverize scalpers ;) Probably won't look at much until Tokyo gets rollin. There seem to be lots of things setting up, but little in the way of beautiful 10.4. We have to sort out the response from Monday's huge move, imho.

you are right, i'm seeing spreads of 40+ on gbpnzd from finspreads! yuck. igindex a bit more stable at 14.
every time finspreads drops the price, it widens the spread.. lol

I think if we get the timing right we will clean up on the Aussie and Kiwi crosses this week. I am not rushing in though as I've been burnt a couple of times this week already.

LOL. I've put in too much time on the majors. What was cracking me up is AUDNZD which until recently was sitting at an ATR of 60ish was spiking that far in seconds, of course now we are where we started. GBPNZD I knew was volitile, but she was really letting folks have it for a while there. Ohh well back to sitting on my hands.

IG Australia quoted 11 to 15 spread, plus an extra 20 pips if you operate their Guaranteed Stop Loss orders. I took the trade short from
1.8416, but after spread/GSLO ... my entry was 1.8381. I took profit at +30 pips and resolved never to accept such ridiculous spreads again.

It was only that I knew (as far as one can "know" anything in FX) the trade would go well, that I bothered with it at all.

No more Mr nice guy - nice guys finish last.

I had to make 35 pips for them before breaking even!

D'uh!

The template has them set to black. Price rarely visits them so they are just clutter. On a few charts I added them back.

I have been surprised by the GBP this week. GBP lost its top rating for the first time in history and I was expecting it to drop significantly this week. It did its gap at the beginning of the week which I expected but then has climbed back which is the surprise. We will see how this goes but it looks like the European currencies will take front page for a while possibly all spring. JPY will reenter again sometime in April so that is going to be one wild month.

Spent a couple of days in Shenzhen and Hong Kong resting before getting home. I will try to read through the last couple of days. I see there was a debate about entrances again. I will post a couple of trade shots trying to show you that there are just some things you cannot control.
