OK I was under the impression that one would get in when the sto5 had bottomed, but I guess you view it as signal to get ready for pivot action, sort of like the RSI(2) on the H4.

Sure, why not, aud cad below pivot, above 960 MA, sto5 at bottom, played cross of DP DMR1 and DR1, 10.4 signal earlier and waiting for it to go. Took 2 level profit and let the third one ride because of the break of the previous high.

Same thing set your pendings and go. I think the best 10.5 trades will start below the daily pivot ala 10.3 or maybe throw the DO line in there again. Might look at that.

Quite relaxing color combination in 10.4 V 0.5 Bob´s template. My eyes are less tired after hours at the screen. That sort of black backgroung with a hint of violet is very soft. Pivot lines seem brighter and are easier to spot.

I dont need it. I have done small lots for so long it is natural for me. I use the same lot size basically on all trades. So if I am 50 or 500 pips away i use the same lot size. My final version will have it and i will hope to update my page 1 within the next 2 weeks.

Last week was a difficult week. This week is equally bad. Having consecutive bad trades. I will stay away until friday or next week. End of the week might have turbulence as cyprus banks open.

I dont need it. I have done small lots for so long it is natural for me. I use the same lot size basically on all trades. So if I am 50 or 500 pips away i use the same lot size. My final version will have it and i will hope to update my page 1 within the next 2 weeks.

I think this works better than increasing size when closer to the 240. Mathematically calculating 2% when close to the 240 with a tight stop is trouble. Turns what should be a quick and easy low probability (tight stop), high R:R trade into oversized trades with no space to breathe. Sort of the anti 10.4 in a sense.

It stuck me with a few interesting trades when size was auto-calculated. The others playing with the EA will have experienced it as well. I landed on the exact same approach, which is basically just a fixed safe lotsize for each trade. In the simplest terms, 100 pip (ATRish on EU) allowance minimum to calc the 2%, or the lesser calculated value if you intend to let it ride all the way back to the 240 on a far away pair.

So the Cyprus gov steals (mainly) from the Russian thieves' stolen funds sitting in their banks - not a bad idea. Doing it retrospectively is seen to be bad - it is clear what it is - but is it any worse than the huge theft that has gone on by other governments devaluing currencies by QE or by just straight taxes that we know of in advance of being taken? No it is not but it shows how anaethatised we have become to gov theft in it's regular forms ie we know about it in advance or are ignorant of it.

I agree 100%. I also prefer fixed lots.

At 2% risk my 10.4 EA opened (in a demo account, of course) a bounce MA trade for 339 lots (WTF!!)
