I just want to start by saying that I have read the entire BASA user guide, and love the strategy.... I placed all of the Moving Averages, RSI-TMA slope indicators... But, I'm a little clear about somethings.

Please take it easy on me... I was wondering if you open several charts (10) for 1 hour time frame, do you have to change the LtfTimeFrame from the Default 0 to 60 (for 1 HR charts)?

Also, For Lots size @ the top of the settings, if you put (.1) will that tell the bot that, that's the MAX Lot size you want or... every position?

Do you have to apply the EA to every chart?... and If you do, will it mess thing up, or will everything be ok?

For the EA to take BUY/SELL positions, is there a setting I'm missing?... Looks like some things are setting up pretty nicely according to the manual but it's not taking position.

Lastly, just want to confirm that if you don't manually put all the Moving Averages and RSI-TMA onto the Chart the EA will not work, right?? Thank you for clearing these things up for me community folks!

It seems you don't have read the first post and the UG well, please read it again and after that the last about 40 pages in this thread and if you ,after you have done it, have still questions, please feel free to ask them here but after reading .

FWIW I've been running SpiderX's r2s2 on 14 pairs (H1) for the past two weeks. It went sideways-to-down for a week, then lost 4% in the last week. I think I'm going to switch to Shelley's "tried and true" version 2q on H4 ... or is that typical behavior for r2s2 and I just need to give it more time?

I'm not running SpiderX's EA at this time...but seems that most of the recent posts on this thread have focused on trading BASA on H1, in fact I can't remember anyone mentioning trading 4H (aside from my own posts in recent times). So, just as a reminder to old & new visitor's to this thread alike...the BASA strategy I designed and which the EA is in post 1 is based on a 4H trading strategy. I think this 'small' fact is getting lost at the moment.

With that being said January hasn't been great trading for BASA 4H (surprise, surprise) with low volumes in the markets. I will post some results on the weekend of my live account for anyone who is interested.

I was going to save posting this until revamping post 1 but am not sure if I will do this tomorrow. I am posting a quick update in light of the last few posts here.

I have abandoned my experiment with H1 trading of the original BASA (not SpiderX's mtf version). It made profits for a while and has since given them all back plus some. SpiderX made some amendments to the code in his mtf version that might allow profitable trading; I do not know.

I have always had BASA trading on my live Cowboy IBFX account, so the money does not matter. I have now returned to the H4 to see if the losses can be recouped.

More detail sometime soon.

On the face of it, your account (using round figures) is 43% up. Fantastic. Your dd appears to be -27%. Yuk. Mind, a shed load less yuk than fantastic.

Live, you could simply close the position, post the +16% and receive a wild round of applause.
