Sure no problem, I have it running on 11 pairs.

I think I am switching to daily as well...both 1hr & 4hr have been lackluster so far!

By the way bobakser, to switch to daily, you just put the EA(ver. 2q) on the Daily chart, and no chang in any paramater...correct?

The markets really haven't been conducive to BASA the last couple of months with so much chop, in fact there are many systems and traders struggling to trade profitably at this time.
Live BASA results for me so far this year are: Jan +1.05%, Feb -2%, March to date -1.17%, so definitely not great, but definitely not terrible considering the market during this time.

So I'm continuing to trade live the original BASA strategy on 4H however I do think it is well worth demoing on Daily...but I would think to benefit the most from this time frame the trade management parameters would need to be tweaked.

Correct, or you can change the setting; Htf =1440, I prefer to change it in the settings that way I can still have it running on any time frame.

I made a bonehead mistake this week - I restarted my platform and it updated to 625 build - which I saw - what I didn't see was that my EA - which was turned off - turned on and entered gbpjpy sell and gbpchf sell which closed pretty quickly for losses - but it also entered a nzdchf buy which made 2 stack trades. Ended the week with 109 positive pips and a loss of .06 cents! I could have closed at BE or a little better but I wanted to see how the EA would handle it. Now if I could only figure out when to turn it on!

I have done that myself a few times and kicked myself...always be careful about a platform re-start during trading. If I have to re-start the platform, I try and time it near the start of a candle if I can to stop trades being opened immediately. Glad you ended up with minimal damage

Mind you, I didn't have any trades this week for BASA at all!

It is easy to add code to force an EA to wait for the start of a new candle before doing any new trading. Shall I do this?

I actually thought the EA already had this code...but clearly I must be wrong! It would be nice to have it...but no urgency!
